I hate to see great players miss games even if it does benefit us.

Serves pats right for running up the score.

After todays game against the Colts I have decided I am scared to play Brady. Patriots play so well. :-\

I have no problem with teams running up the score, but at least do it with the backups. No reason any of the "skill" position players should be in a game when they are ahead by 28 with 7:30 left. I guess the figured Gronkowski was safe as a blocker on the PAT.

Why? The Colts are very mediocre and went on the road and got the crap kicked out of them by a good team. Texans shouldn't be 'scared' of anybody in the NFL.

This painful game is more enjoyable than the HOU/LA game. :(

I'd feel really good about this situation if Roethlisberger was going out there. Come on Leftwich, prove me wrong! (And thanks again for wasting 2 timeouts.)

looks like it is going to be Indy Pitt and Cinci for the fifth and sixth seeds. I think Indy have the best shot as big Ben is down and Cinci is a game behind. Colts have a good shot at 10 wins as Texans will likely not play starters the last game.

This will probably get lost, but the timeout right before the 2 minute warning. Backfired this time. There was a penalty, so Baltimore was able to run another play after the 2 minute warning and run the clock down before punting.

    ~2:04 timeout (last remaining)
    Baltimore runs play - penalty
    two minute warning
Baltimore reruns play - proceeds to run clock for the full duration after failing to convert.

Leftwich wasn't driving down even with the additional ~40 seconds, but wanted to point it out for anyone who didn't watch the game.

Ravens are a really mediocre team on the road. They lucked out on Ben not being able to play tonight.

Ravens still have some key games left.

I'm assuming Ben will be back for the game in two weeks against them.

They still have the Broncos and Giants.

Flacco just isn't a very good road QB either.

All the Steelers have to do is make the playoffs with Big Ben fully recovered. They will be a dangerous team.

Ravens don't scare me at all.

If Gronkowski isn't healthy in the playoffs, Pats definitely won't beat the Texans or Broncos.

IMO, the opponents the Texans should fear most:

    1. Broncos (far and away their biggest threat)

    2. Steelers if Big Ben gets healthy

    3. Pats (if Gronkowski gets healthy, move them to #2)

    4. Ravens. Very slim chance of winning at Denver or here in the divisional round.
