Lions are in the same boat. I would let them rest, maybe one day of practice. Thanksgiving games are a long standing tradition, should be fun for them. Joesph's absence will hurt, but the offense is really firing on all cylinders.
Only person on this team that may be drained is AJ and that's only because he had to run 48 yards for the game winning score baby!!! Give AJ the next 3 days off.
It's mid season, every NFL player is hurting and every NFL player is tired, but not every player has the honor of being in a Holiday game. 11-1, book it.
Honest, if they lost the Thursday game within 14 points, I wouldn't even be mad given the roller coaster that this game was. That and I am volunteering on Thanksgiving morning so I'm likely to miss at least a quarter if not the first half.
No, you were right the first time - it's Joseph with the hamstring. Though I wouldn't count him out just yet. I was there when he talked about the MRI - it really sounded more precautionary. He said a similar thing after the Buffalo game - that he'd get his wrist "checked out", and it ended up not being an issue. So I wouldn't be shocked if JJ gave it a go Thursday, knowing he has 10 days off before his next one.
I can't believe there are only 6 games left. this season is going by too quick. Colts lost today so we are up 3 games. What division will we play against the first playoff game?
These guys are professional football players - not a bunch of powder puff ballarinas They will be fine
I would think the defense will come out breathing fire on Thursday since it had to be pretty embarassing to give up 37 points to a crap offense like the Jags.
It's been an anyone can beat anyone league for about 10 years now.... doesn't change the fact that within those confines, the Texans are the best team in the league.
