If you're on this forum, get to know the history of the rockets and Houston sports. I love Andre, but this is a RUNNING team. The number one person on this team is foster, two is the defense, then Andre. Hakeem single handhedly owned all great centers in the nba on the way to two championships. It's stupid anybody is even debating this.

i think its pointless to debate this. i consider them all houston legends.. but dream is in the discussion of greatest of all time at his position and possibly lands in the top 10 of all time.. he is in another tier. andre johnson is an elite wr, not the greatest, hes captured the respect and praise of a city. we love us some andre johnson down here.. nothing short of the next peyton manning in a texans uniform could ever challenge dream..

Love Dre, but you don't get to be 1 or even 1A unless you bring multiple championships or highlight moments or be considered a local product (ie Olajuwon and Drexler's U of H background or Earl Campbell and his history in the area). He maybe on his way but you can't crown him yet. This game just officially puts him past Warren Moon and makes him equal or just below Earl Campbell. Also, I still have love for Cynthia Cooper and Swoopes, haters going to hate women's basketball but those teams and the players had heart and did our city prouder in those campaigns then a iterations some of the teams the "relevant sports/leagues" put out to represent. They started to suck toward the end but that was just because of the horrible management that led to the team folding. Shout out to the Dynamo (on their way to their 4th MLS Cup Finals in 7 years they have been in Houston) and the Houston Aeros (don't follow Hockey that much but I know they have had some decent playoff runs).
if the texans win 4 ships, gary kubiak might go down as the greatest houston sports legend of all time.. but even if the texans win 4 superbowls, he(andre) still wont come close to hakeem, dream is legend, GOAT status.. super bowls are team accomplishments, dream is so much more than 2 nba titles..
