but you have to time to find a thread, read it and then make a posting about it? What does your child do differently from ours? I have 2 and half..... does your child have super genetics which make him/her act as though s/he was combined with a dozen?? then I guess I could believe why you dont have time to tweet.

Royce already knows beforehand that he's not going to get a lick of playing time because he doesn't play defense. So he tries this ploy to blackmail the Rockets

If he were going for a lawsuit, this would be a closed door matter involving only his lawyer, the players union, and the NBA. No lawyer would let him rant on twitter like that. I think he's just crazy.

All of these groups have been reported to have had talks on Friday, but it was reported that Royce would not have much backing from the union and his management because of the Tweets which would all be used against him in a lawsuit.

I doubt anyone from Royce's camp is encouraging him to file a lawsuit. What those folks are probably instructing him to do is what to say in the case that you go to the negotiating table with the Rockets on a buyout to best serve you financially.

What would be the purpose of a lawsuit by Royce White?

    Oh STOP with that

    (Royce White quote)
So he's basically making himself to be like the most uniquely new thing to enter into people's lives, almost like he's giving OTHER'S an "educational" benefit. He's trying to be "above it" AND in "control" AND trying to appear "proactive". But he's STILL not being FULLY ACCOUNTABLE in any of that.

The only thing that should be coming out his mouth is that he APOLOGIZES for the distractions he's caused, wished it wasnt like that and that he'll try to work it out amicably. THATS IT

How is this situation NOT a player being UNREASONABLE? Can you say Royce is being FULLY REASONABLE and cooperative?

Ugh. The whole thing started so well-intentioned and is quickly becoming so pretentious...

Recover lost wages due to fines. Ensure he gets the fully guaranteed portion of his contract, despite not playing any games, missing camp, and several practices. Also, he might try to sue for damages if he truly believes that Rockets weren't accommodating him for his disability.

If what dobro says is true and the union won't support him, screw him. Pay for his summer league appearances and the practice days where he actually showed up. The rockets don't owe him jack.

I'm going to pretend there isn't a possibility of lawsuit. That could get ugly fast.

Is it my understanding that "rejoining the team" means Royce STILL has no intention of respecting his D-league assignment? Does Royce White think he's not a part of the Rockets organization if he is playing basketball in the developmental league while under contract with the Rockets? He's already with the Rockets.

I'm confused by his statements because playing for the Rockets means playing well in the D-league first, and then you get your chance. Is he still trying to parade around his alleged mental illnesses as a fast-track to playing time or has Royce at least understood the basic tenet that playing time is earned, not given?

Also I want to point out that Royce White is easily the first basketball player in all of recorded history to grow up without a strong father figure. What a unique struggle he has had to endure.

I think he'd lose, though. Rockets will do everything to cover their bases.

I say the Rockets need to work with him since he is an investment. But he also needs to go to the D-league.

Why in the hell is this clown in the NBA ... playing basketball seems to be the only thing not on his mind.

I say cut bait and try to get his contract voided. It will never be enough with this me-first diva.I don't see him being more than a bench player, even without all the extra baggage.
