I don't see it that way. I don't like Notre Dame's defense like I do Alabama's when they're both clicking defensively. I also like Alabama's offense a lot more.
I completely agree. Even though Golson has gotten better with each passing week, I still like Bama's offense and defense better. They are also much, much more battle tested. ND had a pretty solid schedule at the start of the season, but many of those games don't look as good as they did before the season.
Out of curiosity, what's not to like about Notre Dame's defense? They've held som pretty good offenses to ridiculously low point totals this season. Outside of the Pittsburgh mess, they haven't allowed more than 17 points to anyone this whole season. Their offense, though, is woefully bad.
notre dame's D seems pretty legit and alabama's O is nothing to write home about. would presumably be very low scoring no matter who wins. i really don't want notre dame to win a title and really don't want the SEC to get one but kstate messed all of that up and probably gave friggin' manziel a heisman (seriously?) in the process. and somehow made it to where us beating kstate will actually give ou another conference championship thanks to wvu's terrible D either not stopping ou on 4th down and not just letting them score with 2 minutes left so they could get the ball back (also good job of blowing 2 timeouts on 2 point conversions so you couldn't stop the clock). so notre dame becomes legit for the first time in 20 years and manages to go undefeated with the help of a couple of calls (especially the 4th down PI against pitt) and now might get a friggin' national championship out of it, especially if barkley can't go. and nick saban might lose another game and still get a national championship out of it (his only undefeated season was the year colt got hurt in the national title game). and now oregon loses to ensure that i will be unhappy no matter who wins the title.
I'm so sick of Alabama I could scream. As a native Hoosier from Indy, I've been passionate against Notre Dame my entire life. GRRRRRRR!!!
I'm not saying I don't like their defense. I'm saying I like Alabama's better when they're both playing on all cylinders. They're more physical.
somehow les miles will end up getting a national title out of all of this even though lsu barely beat auburn and ole miss. friggin' kstate and oregon. complete choke jobs. how do you let that baylor defense stop you all night? they made our (UT) defense look like the '85 bears when we played them.
I agree. I wish there wasn't a champion at all this year. I don't really like any of these teams winning it. Oregon vs. K-State would've been nice though.
So LSU almost loses to Ole Miss. Texas A&M, an ex Big XII team, almost loses to Ole Miss. UT demolishes Ole Miss. LSU > Ole Miss A&M > Ole Miss UT >>>>>>>> Ole Miss
So Bama gets another mulligan? Can someone explain why Oregon shouldn't still be ranked above Bama? Stanford is arguably better than A&M. They both lost close games at home.
wait what are we looking at here if ND happens to lose to USC next week? alabama/georgia will play each other in SEC championship right? so theres an SEC school...but ND loses who is next up after the loser of bama/georgia SEC championship game? florida? maybe oregon?
