    He's pretty good. I watch a lot of college baseball on ESPNU and he's their main color guy when they do games out on the west coast.

    No kidding. I would would be pissed if he ends up leaving.

    The story was always that JD had turned down a bunch of offers that had come his way, so why now? And for a job that isn't necessarily a move up?

    I'm gonna be royally pissed if JD and Brownie aren't back next year.

    A lot about this organization has sucked over the last 5 years, but the annoucne team is the best.

    JD is very funny and knowledgeable. Not to mention they never come off as homers.

    I don't blame him. JD is a gem... and if the Astros had more exposure, the rest of the nation would realize that.

    Hell, I'd rather him replace McCarver on the Fox national broadcast... he's that good.
