• Patty Melt needs to go...... where's D-MO?! Bring him back if he's in the D-League. I don't like Patterson anymore. I just don't.

 

Sampson's offensive scheme calls for a PG to shoot, not drive.

 

What a heartache...lost in OT again....sob...

Starters were solid but Morris was the only bright spark from the bench.

 

it's like if lin starts to become more aggressive they don't want that because they want harden to do everything. that's not going to work

 

There is no hate on Lin. The hate is on posters resorting to racism to explain the OT period of Lin not playing. There was a reason they didn't want Lin playing OT. Was is the right call? I don't think so, but they had a rationale for it

 

It's obvious why Sampson didn't play Lin. After the first meeting against the Blazers Lillard hit some big 3s to win the game and in tonights game Lillard was heating up at the end again. So Samps decided to give TD a try unfortunately it didn't work out too well.

 

I think the Blazers only play like this against Houston.

Sampson sucks and blows balls

 

Sampson Crunch time decisions are lacking. Leaves out Asik for crucial rebound in one game. This game Leaves out Lin for crucial... whatever Lin gives us.

 

Hmm the Rockets have had their best player for less than a month and no training camp... They have a team 66% new, and are without their head coach... And lose in over time. No one should be surprised...

The Rockets are not supposed to be good this year, there is a reason we wanted to keep our #1.

 

Defensively, Douglas is better, it was just one of those games for Lillard, it wouldn't matter who was guarding him, he would have wet those shots the same. I agree though, Lin definitely should have been in the game in the final minutes. I didn't think it was a terrible coaching move but it was risky. I don't think McHale would make the same mistake even though I'm not the biggest fan of him as a coach to say the least.

 

We must be tanking this season.

 

I don't think the coaching staff, particularly Sampson, has ever been sold on Jeremy.
That, or TD is the secret love child of Kelvin Sampson.
Kid was working towards a triple double...and you bench him.

Morris was pretty clutch tonight, nice to see.

And I agree with most that Harden iso is getting sickening.

 

the entire OT? the ENTIRE OT? your best playmaker/distributor on the team? No excuse.

 

A couple reason we lost:

1. Osik still suck on offense. He gets block too easily and should have fake before dunking instead got blocked by Batum. This tells me he's lacking offensive awareness. That was a crucial block!
2. Coaching taking Lin out...stupid coach
3. Morris playing bad defense and not able to guard Batum
4. And of course Batum got HOT...still why not come up right at him and make him drive and when he drive, we double team him...we been doing that the entire game. For some reason they're not adjusting to Portland game plan.

 

Sampson needs to be sent to the Dleague

 

if that is the case the jlin is in trouble because drive is what he does best
