fill me in. I'm going the stream route now and it's killing me. I feel like I'm 8 years old again watching them on a little b&w cathode ray portable tv

Amen, but its better than nothing. Perhaps I could go old school and bust out the radio broadcast.

I shelled out for League Pass broadband and use a proxy to watch. I mainly use satellite for sports anyway so with no Rockets on I'll be cancelling that so in the long run I'll be saving money. It sucks having to watch on my computer though.

I hear you, and I'm glad that works for some people here. Personally, I've got my hands full chasing a couple of 1-year olds around the house all night. I just don't have the time or energy to jack around with downloading torrents for hours at a time and then watching on a computer screen.

Maybe for a playoff game, but for a Tuesday night in November game against the Pistons?

So much easier to just turn on the TV and watch.

i d/l'ed the first 2 games and played them back on my xbox.. at 1080p/60fps it was great.. i only d/l'ed those cause harden went off, if i miss a game id rather just check the boxscore. if im not watching live its kinda pointless..

Does CSN come standard with comcast or do you have to pay extra to get it? I am asking because I am about to get comcast and need to know if it comes standard.

I've got a GMC with XM radio & have listen to a couple of Rockets games on the way home. Not a bad idea if you're in a pinch & don't mind "old school".;)
By the way, NBA radio is in the channel 218 to 222 range on XM radio.

Plus 20.00 a month for 1 hd-dvr box. And this price has probably gone up since I left Comcast in Aug. 2011

Unfortunately, I'm right there with you. I still keep up with the games and listen to them on Sirius radio if I happen to be in the car at the time, but I'm becoming less and less interested as each day passes.

I love my Rockets, but I'm finding other sports to fill the time I generally spend watching them. I've watched a lot of other NBA games and I've already watched a lot of college basketball even though the season is only a week old.

I think that's a bad sign, they aren't even talking numbers. Still trying to convince providers they need the channel

Most Rocket fans live outside of Houston where there is no Comcast. I really hope DTV come through with a deal soon.
