It's possible someone will buy the brand name and continue producing them, but for now... http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/national...-Hostess-Going-Out-of-Business-179643161.html
There was this Russian guy, this Spanish guy and this Korean guy all in the same ESL class. The teacher told them to make a sentence using the word 'hostess' for homework. So the next day the Russian guy goes "Oh I have a good sentence. The hostess was very courteous." And the teacher said "Wow that was really good!" The Spanish guy goes, "Oh I have a better sentence. My mother is a good hostess when others come over." Then the teacher said, "Wow that was really good!" Finally the Korean guy goes, "I have the best sentence. When my mother answers the phone, she says hostess?"
Well, I'm not going to feel sorry for the workers who voted against the contract and didn't return to work by the deadline. Apparently, they don't care about loss of their jobs so why the hell should I? I know...they were slated to take an 8% pay cut and would get some back a few years down the road. It's tough. But, I guess they would rather be unemployed and collect an unemployment check. Good luck to them. I think they screwed themselves personally. Like was said, that line of work is already oversaturated with workers so good luck finding another one. I think they are idiots. As far as the death of the twinkie and the Hostess junk food, good riddance. Stuff is just making fat people fatter. Besides, there are still donuts and other junk out there...especially for you fat cops. However, every kid should be able to try a twinkie. It will be back after some other company buys rights to it. All you panicked fat people better hit the stores to snag them while you can. Or, you can always bid for them on ebay. I don't care what you do. I'm going to do some chin-ups and eat rice cakes.
Union strikes can be hard. I had a friend named Tommy who was struggling not so long ago. Tommy used to work on the docks. Union's been on strike, he's down on his luck. It's tough....so tough. His wife's name is Gina. Gina works the diner all day. Working for her man, she brings home her pay for love. For love.
Went to the corner 7-11 to buy a remembrance pack of twinkies. Was planning on squeezing out a little cream filling for my homies. But they were out. Ended up consolating with a three pack of Hostess orange cupcakes. RIP
love that they have twinkies on ebay right now. guess most don't understand how rebranding works and will be upset about paying lots for ebay twinkies when they see Kellogg Twinkies on the shelves in 4 months
