Hamas, Yaser Arafat, PLO, Hezbollah. The leadership doesn't matter. Israel will never want any Palestinian leadership that has balls and will step up to the atrocities going on.

They will all be labeled terrorists by the Media, and the Genocide of the Palestinians will continue while the Israelis paint themselves as the victims.

Palestine Victims - 6 kids, 2 babies, and a pregnant woman in the past week.

Real big terrorists those were..

Oh but wait, now their family shouldn't retaliate and fight back after their loved ones have just been murdered.

Hamas chooses to use the victims you talk about as their shields. You are wrong.

Egyptian President Morsi warns Israel will pay heavy price

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi sharpened his tone against Israel on Friday, while Palestinian terrorists continued to fire rockets into southern Israel and Tel Aviv.

After concluding the Friday prayer at a mosque in Cairo, Morsi warned Israel of the consequences of its strikes in Gaza. According to the al- Shorouk newspaper, Morsi tweeted on his Twitter page: "We have the power to uproot the aggressiveness just like it uprooted exploitation.

"I don't want to take unusual steps," Morsi added, "but if I see that the homeland is in danger, I won't hesitate."

I don't want to defend Hamas as I agree they are a terrorist organization and are ill serving the Palestinians but you have to consider that the Gaza Strip is one of the densest places in the world and there really is no such thing as a precision bomb when dropped into a dense urban environment. On the flip side too Israeli soldiers frequently mingle in the civilian population while in uniform so it's not like Israelis go to every length to separate their military from their civilian.

Anyway this isn't to say Hamas is good and Israel is bad or the converse. In my opinion neither side has the moral high ground.

You are brainwashed. Living in Israel definitely has radicalized you. Your views are much more extreme than they were two years ago.

calm down bro!!!, i'm not on anyone's side. i'm talking about about using common sense, being a realist, being open minded, pragmatic, etc...

it's like watching a game/match or whatever and you can see the momentum has turned and see the winner before the match is over. I don't see any way Palestine reclaims land and becomes sovereign in my lifetime or the next. I can see Palestine (territory/entity) as it stands today become history.

I was saying I wish the Palestine people could see that. It's very difficult because faith, hope, principles, pride, myopia, irrationality, etc... get in the way, but surely the people of Palestine have to realize they will not win. Look at the conquest of the Americas, only history, stories, and a few traditions survive. Fighting back is exactly what the Israelis want you to do. Hamas is sadly and tragically undermining you. Now Israel can play the victim and gives them all the patriotic rage they need to push their agenda even further.

Cut your losses, get what you can now, become sovereign (albeit small), and move on before it's too late.

    That's all I'm saying here.

It's the Israelis that have a problem with them. If they ****ing want to get rid of them, then by all means do it. Stop killing already starved, impoverished innocent civilians and children.

you see, this is where you and i differ.

Palestinians SHOULD have a problem with them too, Hamas is hijacking any chance they had. Hamas will inject false hope and create a zeal for a loosing cause. Palestinians need real leadership not barbaric, guerrilla, and warlord style leaders.

Any leadership they choose will be forced to take up arms and defend their people against the terrorism of Israel. If they didnt they would be voted out of office. The Palestinian people and the people of Gaza that have been victimized and have lost family, will elect a leadership that will fight back against oppression.

I am far from radical. I realize that the whole situation in Israel/Gaza/West Bank is f'ed up. I said in an earlier post that I really sincerely wish that Gazans and people in the middle-east today would have the chance to live a full, happy, life to there full potential. Today the terrorist organizations fired upon Jerusalem, one of the most holy places in their own religion, out of pure hate.

I am sorry that you think I am extreme but in reality I wish we could all live in harmony from hate caused by religious differences and propaganda. To me it is stupid that their has to be any wars and terrorist attacks. Maybe one day we can all get along and sing kum-by-ya, but until that day I realize one thing.

My main thing is that Israel has no option but to defend itself at all cost. They cannot afford to take any situation lightly. I guess you can look at it as if there were no Israel, there would be no Jewish people. I know that is an extreme but it does have some substance.
