I'm almost sorry to see Raymond Felton has cut the weight. For a while, it was really fun to hear all the ways broadcasters would tactfully point out how fat he was. You know: "low center of gravity" "hard to budge when posting up" "surprising speed" lol
Their stats are virtually the same. Felton has a better FG% but his free throw shooting has been terrible.
Anyway, no matter how all you lin haters slice it, if you were in his shoes, you would NEVER play at 85% if you had no guaranteed contract next season... c'mon guys...no one would risk permanent or further injury and risk their entire future. Especially with a knicks organization that is so dysfunctional. Also, as was mentioned earlier, it was reported that he couldnt even jump, so it is a non-issue really. Just new yorkers making a whole lotta noise about nothin'. Now as to who is the better pg, felton vs lin, we will see by the end of the year. Admittedly, nyknicks are on fire right now.
I wonder what Portland fans think now. Both Felton and Crawford look good this yr and were crap with the Blazers.
He got motivated, lost weight and got into shape. I think Linsanity was the best thing that could've happened to him.
Felton played like an all-star on his last stint with the Knicks, crazy underrated by this board. Motivated Felton is way better than Lin at this stage of their careers.
I think they hate Felton and Crawford badly right now. These guys went to Portland, out of shape, pouted, lost games, just a very very frustrating season where people started talking that maybe that whole team including Aldridge needs to be blown up. And then they go away and get in shape and start playing well, showing what could've been? Sure, it got them Lillard last year. And Artest going into the stands got the Pacers Granger, and the Pacers fans are still upset with Artest.
Raymond Felton's usage rate on that loaded Knicks team? 25.8 --- 15.5pts/6ast 5 of those 7 games Lin played under woodson were blowout wins so Lin's usage rate dropped quite a bit, but he still managed to average 15/6...Yes with Woodson being the coach. 8 games so far and Lin's usage rate is 18.6 You make the judgement
