No - they all have their own reasons. Why? Do you think all Muslims think alike and should be lumped together?

Islam is a belief system, so in some ways the answer to your question is yes. Though obviously not about everything.

I find it hard to believe your suggestion that Palestinians support Hamas out of hatred for some Israeli oppression when so many Islamic nations support terrorism. Occam's razor says you're probably wrong.

Nations are not people. And nations - especially non-Democratic ones - often have different interests and objectives than their people. Regardless of what Iran's government supports, I'm pretty sure the vast majority of everyday Iranians are interested in having jobs, getting their kids to school, etc rather than supporting terrorism. Other nations may be different - Pakistanis along the Afghan border are more likely to support terrorism as individuals because they probably have a big problem with the US. Muslims in the US are highly unlikely to support terrorism. And on and on.

You seem to have a very narrow-minded view of the world if you believe the world's Muslims are likely to be terrorist supporters.

I believe they are far more likely to support terrorism than the other major religions.

That's nice and all, but completely irrelevant to the discussion.

    Then so was your question/comment.

Islam has a propensity to support terrorism (thus the large support of terrorism from Muslims). This counters your claim that Palestinians (Muslims) support Hamas because they feel they are treated poorly by Israelis.

Unsurprising how wrong your post is. That's often the case with what you post. But just thought I'd point it out again in this case.

What percentage of the world's Muslims do you believe support terrorism?

Not really. People generally support terrorism when it serves as a means to an end. Israel supported terrorism when it was necessary for their survival in the early years, for example. When you take away the reasons to support terrorism, that support unsurprisingly goes away.

How unpatriotic. Wars by US client states creates JOBS. Are you against jobs? ;)

All that money in "aid" is simply transferred to Pentagon contractors to provide that aid. Do you think that will go away easily? It's a sweet deal for the Beltway Boys.

Nothing happened. That is the point. The settlements do not lead to terrorism. The terrorism comes from the Gaza strip, where there are no settlements.
There were settlements in Gaza. They were no more dangerous than the settlements in the West Bank. Israel wasn't driven out of Gaza, they chose to leave unilaterally. If this behavior incentivizes violence towards settlers in the West Bank, the incentive must not be very strong, because the violence in the West Bank is much less than the violence in Gaza.

Islam still have a lot of catching up to do if they wanted to be the leader in casualties by terrorism. Do you think this is somehow different than the centuries of evidence supporting the notion that people having the propensity to use religious text as justification for murder? Perhaps they should move on to a more noble cause like securing commodities by "spreading democracy."

What savages. A gentleman born of a civilized world, such as our own, does not sully his name engaging in combat with these bygone cartridge-loaded firearms. The refined man execute the atrocities of his choice in a chair with the push of a button.

The thing is, if Hamas would lay down their arms, the Palestinians would get everything they want. That however is not what Hamas wants. They want to destroy Israel. Hamas is TARGETING Israeli residential areas with rockets. They hide in residential areas so Israel has no choice in the collateral damage when they retaliate. Are you suggesting Israel should just let them fire rockets randomly and not retaliate? Actually, they want Israel to retaliate so they can show the pictures of the civilian casualties to paint Israel as the bad guys. This helps feed their propaganda machine which some people buy hook, line, and sinker. The existence of Hamas has Israel in a catch-22. The more freedom they give Palestinians the more freedom Hamas has to work toward their goal of destroying Israel. If the Palestinians would wake up and get rid of Hamas, they would get everything they want. As long as there is a radical hate group like Hamas in the picture, there will never be peace and the Palestinians will never get what they want.

Palestinians will never get what they want because Israel does not negotiate fairly.

That hasn't been the case in the past. When Palestinians laid down their arms for over a year because of a treaty during the whole Oslo accord talks, Israel didn't follow through with their agreement and didn't uphold their end of the agreement.

The truth is that the Oslo accords weren't sustainable even if they had been granted. But the Palestinians didn't even get that deal granted despite laying down their arms for a prolonged period of time.

Why are you basing your conclusions on last 50 years or so? What about the past hundreds of years when the small minute group of self-proclaimed muslims did NOT blow themselves up?
