If you're not buddies with the guy and you're saying stuff like this, you do indeed sound jealous and b!tchmade.
Your comment comes from your own ego-centric, fabricated desire to achieve fame, as if that will validate your existence. Some of us do not believe in that cookie-cutter structure that American capitalism instills into the minds of young ethnic men. You stylize the hip-hop, athlete lifestyle then bemoan those who achieve it and do not appreciate it. You also deride those you critique it because you hold it up as the highest standard you could achieve in life. None of you are helping Dash out by saying **** like "Good job, keep chasing your dream". He isn't going to take that into consideration because it is not useful advice. He's already doing what he wants to do. He needs direction, somebody to tell him what he needs to work on if he wants to succeed in this industry.
That's where you're mistaken. Rap hasn't been Juvenile-based since the "Back That Azz Up" heyday of 1999 (notwithstanding a brief "Slow Motion"-centric stretch in 2004). There's been very little Juvenile in mainstream popular rap since then.
You sure do know a lot about me and what I hold dear in life, too bad you're wrong about all of it. Nobody said you had to like rap, my favorite band is Korn followed closely or tied with Outkast. Your new "I've reached a higher plane of understanding and know everything" act is all well and good, but you can't say "hey, I'm just giving him honest feedback" with stuff like "you look like a douchebag", you're coming off jealous. Deal with it. Now please, educate me more about how capitalism and social norms have shaped my mind .
Stop digging this hole further because sorry to tell you, you're the one coming off as a giant douchebag right now. Maybe he doesn't take life as seriously as you do, maybe it's just fun for him to experiment with an art form he enjoys. I actually agree with a lot of what you're saying about capitalism but getting on your soapbox and talking down to people like this just makes you look bad.
Higher form will always be ridiculed harshly in its infancy. I am not here to call into question Dash's choice of lifestyle, that is his own personal choice and what is relevant to him should be exactly what he pursues. I merely pontificated as to why some take offense to honest feedback mixed in with sarcastic humor. If my good friends brought me over a video of them singing a song entitled "That Bish Cray" I assure you they'd be told to their face about just how I felt about it from a critical standpoint. Not because I value critical analysis entirely subjective license, I just like an opportunity to give people ****.
Suddenly this thread is about my jealousy which means others are actually the ones who feel jealousy when they look at my moniker and notice how well endowed I am with green.
I want to have the buttsecks with the Moes while listening to this album! That's a dirty hippie anus.
Have you ever tried hardcore autotune and making your songs a bit more ghetto? I don't listen to much rap but it seems all the rap nowadays has that in common.
I listened to some more songs today and checked out TdashDUB channel on YouTube. I am a fan now. Some songs are really catchy and sort of remind me of Everlast, Kid Rock and Eminem. Oh and I also found this song about how difficult it is to be a Rockets fan  Dubwerth rules <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Lh96KWFUnO0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
^ This guy is DD's son, or something... has to be the new "LOOK AT ME, I CAN DO ALL THIS" guy...
I so respect the grind. I know first hand how hard you've worked over these past few years bro and I'm proud of you. Remember Kingwood? As always, if I have a resource that you can use to your advantage please feel free to let me know.
