Pretty generic, honestly. I don't buy the whole "both sides" made mistakes narrative. Not at all. This is all on White. The only mistake the Rockets made was drafting him.

I think the Rockets have been more than fair trying to cope with his disorder. They have doctors for him, but he wants his OWN doctor.. Come on, really?

I concur except I don't think he has it in him to become a star even without the drama, sense of entitlement and his disorder.

Nice theory. Both of them could suffer from a disorder.

I just watched Grant Hill on TV

Can you imagine GRANT HILL doing things like this??

    • Grant Hill @Highway_30
Odd when ppl say "stop using it as a crutch." Is being underprivileged and under represented a CRUTCH or is it a real issue today. #problem

    • Final: If its wrong to stand up for yourself and your health... SIGN ME UP! ppl who have something to hide will stay quiet. #BeTransparent

The more I think about the guys that actually represent the Rockets, the less I care. Get well, Royce, but you're scorching earth with the organization and fans. I hope Motiejunas emerges from this as an actual NBA player that helps his team.

Motie talks mad isht, but his work ethic backs up his mouth.

Meanwhile.....Royce talks mad isht, but only on twitter.

Motie dribbling in the post doing turnarounds as i type this.

"3....2.....1....*swish* the crowd goes wiiiild" (c) Motie......right now.

    Royce....right now? Tweeting.

    Point: you're probably correct.

Royce White has set people with anxiety, depression and other various mental disorders back decades.

After this debacle, have fun trying to get employed in the real world Royce. "when keeping it real goes wrong" good grief, he has gone completely off the deep end with the narcissism and manipulation. One rule - don't go full r****d and he broke it. Game over man game over.

I believe the Rockets should support him not in whatever way they can, but in the proper ways. Things related to his condition, yes. Travel by bus, tick. Even pay for it, tick. Getting a good doctor for Royce, tick.

But no to expecting a chance to prove himself through playing time, when he missed a big part of training camp due to negotiation tactics, and is sitting behind players that rightly deserve to play ahead of him due to training camp - Jones + DMo, one of which has only got garbage time, the other is going to D-League as well, despite having been a professional basketball player for a few years already in Europe.

Should the Rockets fine him for his absence from training and games? Absolutely. Unless he can produce a doctor's certificate or something ... from seeing the Rockets appointed doctors. I don't mind Royce having a trusted family doctor giving him aid ... but let that doctor work with a professional psychologist the Rockets have appointed. I mean it's like TMac saying I'm doing arthroscopic surgery and the Rockets have no right to get a second opinion from a professional doctor. It is ridiculous.

You are quite correct. He stands the best chance of being an advocate for people with mental disorders by cooperating with the Rockets, and showing that he deserves special treatment only in things related to his condition, but no special treatment in things unrelated to his condition (like playing time, needing to work in DLeague, getting to practice, coming to games when inactive, actually informing people he's not coming, or even the courtesy to reply to messages from his teammates as opposed to just tweeting
