Another ugly win and I still dont feel like there's any 'progress' really, again could be because I hate the "live or die by the 3" offenses.

This offense is doing wonders for Jeremy Lin's confidence! :)
Brilliant idea to prevent him from excelling at what he's good at to defer to our ~MAX~ player.:)
Surely this offense won't become predictable AT ALL. :)

Why are you always going on about this 'respect' crap? You make everything so damn personal. It must be tough to be you everyday.

He had an open lane when the ball swung back to him. He just needs to be aggressive. I like his performance in the final quarter even though he missed those layups.

LIN is OPPOSITE thus far this year...awesome defense and no turnovers.....vs last year with knicks: poor defense and a ton of turnovers.....but look what it did to his offensive game. He has swung too far to the otherside...but will revert back to the mean eventually.....when is the question!!!

There was a play where Lin was in the corner and was swung the ball, and he called PPAT all the way from under the basket to set a screen for him. It was just really ugly.

He had a decent start to the season and had people excited about the Rockets' backcourt. And no, it wasn't just because of Harden.

Has Lin even started 40 games yet? Stop being so impatient.

Plus, he's just coming off of surgery.

PGs take a long time to develop. These Rockets have a lot of time, in case you haven't noticed. This is why it was the best move for Lin to come here. He needs to become a more multi-faceted player.

He's already improved his defensive game a lot, which was one of his biggest weaknesses. There's no reason to doubt that he won't improve his offensive game either.

He's going through a rough patch right now, but what young player doesn't?

lin contributed on defensive end - more than some people will give him credit for. He did well. But he is here to be a offensive threat and really he looked absolutely pathetic on offense, missing open 3's, looking to pass the ball to harden whenever he gets the chance. I did like the fact that he drove to the basket although he missed all of the shots.

I wish he would get a better mindset about his offense. When he sees an opening or feels like he can drive it - he should go for it. He is NOT going to come out of his slump playing the way he is doing.

He needs to realize that the rox have a lot of money invested in him - that he is not going to get cut for missing his shots. The rockets are one offensively competent lin away from being a true playoff contender.

no don't act like I am hating on harden - I'm just asking you guys if you saw what I saw. I just feel like Harden tries to utilize LIn much at all.

You're complaining that your beloved Jeremy Lin didn't have a 20 point, 10 assist game but we still won? Please go away and now. We don't need you here on this ROCKETS fan discussion board. You are a burden on this ROCKETS fan discussion board. There is a Jeremy Lin fan discussion board you know? Go find it and post there please and we will all be grateful if you do.

The thing though was that in NY his teammates would set proper picks/screens for him to get him open. In Houston in this game I only saw them do it once & that one time he converted. The only player getting picks /screens set for him are James Harden. Like when Lin was out there by himself as the sole ball handler I figured that the bigs would do something for him but they didn't. So odd.

i keep hearing people using LIn's injury as a clutch but is it really true that he is still recovering? IT wasn't like it was that big of an injury and he had plenty of time to recover from it.

It is not like he is going to feel better going thru the physically grueling season.
