Asik has been so consistently good that we forget about how many aspects of the game he effects

You're absolutely CORRECT, Harden save his own stats by passing the ball to Parsons in the last few seconds.

Game should have not gotten this close, but a win is a win.

Harden had a real efficient game, was unstoppable going to the hoop, but his three point shooting was way off and he just shot too many from behind the arc.

Parsons had a very good game, 13/10 very impressed

Asik was Asik 15/12/2 blocks.. nice as usual

Lin.. dissapointing.. not sure what it is.. He still rebounds, gets steals, had 3 more tonight, but his shot is off and he is just not doing much with the ball at all... I will say that lin needs to improve his handle, he has the size, speed and athleticism to be the player many expect, but his ball handling has to improve... even then, not sure why the lack of overall offensive aggression..

    solid game for tony Douglas...

I didn't see much of Davis tonight. Probably no ROY for him...

My prediction is Lin will have a slow 2 months to the season but then Linsanity 2.0 is born in January when the Rockets go on a 10 game win streak.

Lin really does nothing when is on the offensive, he needs to make cuts and move around atleast

Lin started attacking the basket in the 2nd half. He just wasn't finishing.

The lack of screens is why the entire starting unit shoots poorly..... This is the biggest team problem right now.

Parsons hit a couple of shots when it counted, but overall he was horrible. You dedicate a paragraph to Lin's woes but give Parsons a 13/10? Summary of this board right now.

Really sad. Like he aged 15 years since his new york days. I'm ready to throw in the towel on this kid. Totally different player from new york. No semblance whatsoever. This version of lin deserves to be cut.

did you watch the game? could've had 7-8 assists easy if people hit some layups. And with Harden, you can count on 0 assists the last 4 minutes of the game if it's close.

I thought Lin played exceptional on defense. He is much better on transistion offense than Harden or chandler. However, his continued offensive ineptitude totally overshadowed his effort. Harden just refuses to pass to him.

I like the fact that he took it to the rim more (although he missed his shots). Is he knee still bothering him or he just isn't good.

One or two bad games is one thing but i haven't seen anything to suggest he is going to get better.

And he is still deferring much to harden even when he has the ball to initiate the offense. its almost pathetic.

I think missing the first 3 shots (all spot-up 3-pters) really dented his confidence. If he even made one of those, I think he might've had a different game.

Look at Harden tonight. He made, what, 1 jump-shot tonight? But he kept attacking the basket and went to the line 11 times or so.

If Lin's gonna break out of this funk, he won't do it by throwing up 3pt shots. We saw him attack the basket a few times this game, but not nearly enough.

Let's also remember that he doesn't even have half a season's worth of starts. He played well under Woodson, so it's not as if he's a one-system guy.

    At least the Rockets won.
