I don't think Douglas is Morey's long term plans. I have no problem with Douglas when he performs. I just don't see the point of building a team around Tony Douglas and I don't think GMs would either.

Say what? I'm sorry, but if you can't see how much SMARTER Lin is on Defense, you're really not seeing the finer points of his defensive play.

TD is a bit quicker on lateral movement (IE, can stay with his man), but his footwork in terms of funnelling or directing his man is not nearly as good. Also he makes more errors on help defense (watch his lack of rotations), has WAY more issues getting past picks (he Literally bounced off picks TWICE and ended up on his butt and LOST his man) and once someone blows by him he's awful at recovering to alter the shot. His ability to steal is worse than Lin's as well.

Steals are NOT lucky. Nor is rebounding. There's a reason why Lin's PPP allowed as a defender is some among the best in the league of ANY position.

Really, go back and watch his Defense in the Miami game. 3 blocks and a steal, stopped Lebron on a layup, took a steal off Wade and was all over Ray Allen whenever he was rotated over.

Lin's Defense from this year and last year is Night and Day.

I keep thinking his shot has to come around. He's the kind of player who doesn't stop working to improve. I'm not that worried about it.

Also, can people please stop saying that TD is a good defender? He is an ATROCIOUS defender. Jumping around and flapping your arms about furiously like you're a chicken that just had its head cut off does not make you a good defender. He makes poor decisions constantly on D as well as on O.

    Everyone should apologize to Morris.

Lin showed how clutch he was airballing that three the other night right? 7 1/2 games into the season is a little early to be claiming anyone sucks at anything; that includes both Harden and Lin.

Who cares. You can have all the talent in the world but if you can't use them it's useless. McHale would probably have Dwight only taking shots from the free throw line or farther. Just like he wants to make Harden into the PG and make Lin be the spot up Kevin Martin style SG...LOL is he out of his mind.

I have watched TD for years he is as streaky as they come. A lot of you guys praising him today will be hating on him next game. He is a class act though and I want to see him do well but banking on Tony Douglas is fools gold.

I think much more of LIn's game if Harden wasn't around. Now I am in no way saying that Harden should be gone, but Lin needs to stop worrying about appeasing Harden and play like the alpha dog he can be. He is a much better passer than Harden. He can make things happen for his teammates. Who would hate a player like that.

Yup i know that im just stating they look much better. They played a great game vs heat and now they are playing a great game vs the hornets. These 1 1/2 games have been way better than the first 6

Lost in all the (well deserved) praise for Morris: Harden has 19 points on 7 for 11 shooting at the half.

Another 30 point game incoming? Knock on wood!

When do you guys think Morris will start? I say next game. He was awesome against Miami and he's bringing it tonight.
