Oh I agree with that - but I'm just arguing against the idea that they'll be competitive against the Patriots. I think the games against the Patriots and Texans will be blowouts. They are still the favorite for the 6th playoff seed, but I suspect that they'll also get blown out in the first round of the playoffs, whoever they play. (on a side note, the Patriots are the opposite of the Colts. They are blowing out the majority of their opponents, and their 3 losses are by a combined 4 points.)
Against the Texans? Most likely b/c they have a great defense. Against the Pats? Unlikely b/c Luck will tear that secondary apart.
And he is out. Ravens with the free win. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8...rgh-steelers-start-injured-ben-roethlisberger
More so than the Ravens, this is huge for the Bengals and Colts. If you guys go 2-3, or even 1-4 in the 5 games before that week 16 match-up with Cincy, they could have a real chance to slide into the Wild Card. I wonder what kind of rib injury it is to be considered rare and dangerous?
haha, i got some solid responses though. Didn't search very hard for a fantasy thread. Figured this was acceptable. Ma bad!
Yeah, after I posted, I read an article that says that it's a dislocated rib that has a chance of pressing against his aorta. Scary stuff.
Hopefully Campbell earns his money, he's pretty decent at protecting the ball so as long as the Bears don't get turnover happy again, ala this past Sunday night, think they'll have a good shot at winning SF. Considering this is around the 5th concussion for Cutler, it's best to play it safe.
Was still holding onto a tiny shred of hope that Roethlisberger would return, sadly not the case. Final butcher's bill is bigger than I anticipated. http://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/59235/mendenhall-clark-both-probable-for-steelers
Ben will not play because even he is not stupid enough to risk his life. Has nothing to do with toughness. If anything, his toughness has cost the Steelers games in the past. He's played games he had no business playing and they lost many of those.
No one was talking to u, but: See comment I posted 11/14/2012 @ 6:03 pm Makes your comment yesterday completely moot
