Sad thing is that going to RGV would be great for him right now. They don't play outside of Texas or Oklahoma until pretty much January. They play in front of smaller crowds. He'd get a chance to develop his skills and tip toe his way into the deeper waters of crowds and travel.

He likes twitter because he can control what's going on, what he retweets, what he responds to, etc...i'm sure it's part of his OCD/anxiety, but it doesn't mean it's ok. Perhaps if he was going to the doctor regularly, rather than just checking in when he wants (as it seems), then a professional would have helped him realize it's the illness acting out.

Can't Jeremy Lin fix this? Surely he can fill in as a psychologist/mediator.

He should crash on White's couch.

Then again, White should crash on the shrink's couch.

He wants everything handed to him on a silver platter; it's not an issue about playing time anymore. He's utilizing his illness to cry victimhood and I think it's utterly immature and pathetic and reflects very poorly and the many that do in fact have anxiety disorder.

i heard that if you keep a picture of Jeremy Lin by your bed, it protects you from vampires. I've also heard you last longer in the sack.

this kid needs to get it through his head that having anxiety doesn't entitle you to be catered to. for someone with anxiety he has a lot of balls behaving like he does.

Social media is a wonderful thing in that it CAN give everyone a Voice.

Wisdom however would argue that just because you HAVE a voice, does not mean that SILENCE is without value.

    To paraphrase the Bard,

Discretion is often the better part of Valour.

Royce isn't standing up for himself anymore. Getting REALLY tired of him saying that. He's being selfish and petulant. You don't "stand up" to your employer when they assign you to a task as they see fit. You either agree to do the work, or you quit. You "stand up" to people who treat you unfairly, not people who bend over backwards to accomodate you and pay you gobs of money. This is about entitlement, not "support" for anxiety.

That's a rookie mistake. It has to be in a locket around your neck.

The Rockets probably should not make compromise with his bus request in the 1st place. You know someone did a holdout to get what he wanted once, next time he would do something similar to ask for me. It's not even a mental illness, just human nature. Maybe too many people cater to Royce due to his illness in his life so far, not enough dare say no, so that makes who he is right now.
