Howdy, Ags. Please go easy on my Bearkats this weekend... We need to stay healthy for the playoffs next week.
I agree with this - they are very sound and solid. The problem is that the SEC doesn't have amazing QB's, with the exception of A&M this year. That's one of the reasons people think that games against the Oregons or Oklahoma States (last year) of the world would be very different vs the SEC. Some of the older SEC teams like Florida had great offenses to go with their defenses, but last year and this year really are more flawed teams. I would probably have Oregon favored over Alabama, and K-State as a pick'em type game. I agree - I don't think Alabama is a bad team at all. They easily are the best 1-loss team. But just playing in the SEC doesn't make them the best team in football. Hopefully Alabama gets to play Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl so we can get 3 vs 4.
I can already see where this is going: since the guy is a Texas A&M fan, that means ALL Texas A&M fans are racist and seemingly have the collective IQ of a rotten carrot, right?? Drunken idiot is a drunken idiot....end of discussion. This has nothing to do with Texas A&M. For the record, I never witnessed one race-driven incident in my 5 years in College Station, but I've seen at least 3 during random weekends in Austin. Just sayin'.
^Tbh, I saw some drunk ass A&M fans at the Rockets game. During the national anthem, one of them turned around and told my wife to stand up. Mind you that she was 9 months pregnant on Saturday. She told me after I sat down. Lucky for the guy that I didn't catch him when he said it. I let it go. I wasn't about to let a knucklehead ruin my sideline row 4 experience  A couple of dudes next to us were cool though.
I'da bottled-over-the-head-ed him. The National Anthem shouldn't be played at a sporting event in the first place.
Someone read and post recap, thx - http://www.goodbullhunting.com/2012...aggies-sec?goback=.gde_67835_member_184575688
I feel like that was written specifically to that dunce cap SkyBlowjobsForAll, or whatever his name is.
Just funny that you would whine about comments that haven't even been made, only to turn around and make a stupid one yourself.
Go through the Deadspin comments.....basically stuff like "drunken, racist Texas A&M fan is a redundancy" and things like that. Besides, you can't tell me that the implication of the post in the first place was to point out the fact that Aggies are racists. I mean, the OP even went back and made it a point to say the guy was an ALUM. There was a clear agenda there. My point wasn't so much that Austin is a racist city, because I know it isn't. I actually love Austin. My point was that College Station gets a really bad wrap from a ton of people who have never even been there. Either way, Johnny Football doesn't give a **** about any of this, and neither should we. It was a jackass being a jackass, and that's about it. Like Ziggy said, somebody should have just busted a bottle over his head, and been done with it.
