My take is white demanded more than just what is written on paper. And the Rockets pretty much said no to it and white is now throwing a fit because of it.

 

Fired for setting the record straight and calling White out on his lies? I think not.

The Rockets want, more than anything, for everyone to just shut up about the situation. They could be facing a massive lawsuit if things go poorly. Instigating reactions is not part of Bullard's pay grade.

 

Team employees report news and give interviews just like Bullard's all the time. The league just suspended Demarcus Cousins for confronting a broadcaster over what he said during a game. Bullard's not going to be fired over being insensitive.

The two heads of the team are keeping quiet, you can't have a color commentator speak out against your team. It's not in the interest of the organization.

Bullard went a bit too far with his comment on mental illness. Royce White has been acting like a petulant child though. I don't understand how things will work out at this point. Terrible situation. We can't even trade this guy for anything good now. Major major fail by Morey for wasting our pick on this guy.

Come on. With all the terrible **** that happens due to social media (bullying so bad that people kill themselves over it), what Bull said does not warrant anything close to a lawsuit. He does need to shut up though.

Wwhy does he delete so many of his tweets if he's confident they're the truth?

 

The Rockets are squeaky clean on this. White, out of the blue, publicly attacks the organization for hours on end and it deserves as big a response as he gave. Not even disgruntled vets have gone to such unbelievably venomous measures, and this guy is a rookie that no other team was even willing to give a chance.
