This draft will be the weakest draft in history. No all-star caliber player from top to bottom. Draft is filled with busts and role players. On the other hand 2014 is shaping to be the best since '03.

Eh I disagree. It's thin up top, but Shabazz has star potential for sure, and it's been a while since there's been an elite SG at the top of the draft. There are more top Cs available this year (provided they declare) than there has been in some time.

The depth is looking pretty solid, but there's a lot of unproven talent there. In other words, it's far too early to jump to conclusions.

    But yes, 2014 looks like a power-class.

We need a starting PF. If we can't sign or trade for one, I like Alex Poythress's game. Best part is, he's not a twener. He's a true PF.

Call me a homer but I think Austin can be had if we can land around 6-7. That's assuming that he doesn't blow up in his freshmen year bc he'll easily go somewhere in the top 5 if he does.

Well this guy isn't known well so we can get him as a second round steal. His name is Arsalan Kazemi. He'd be able to back up Harden and Parsons well and can learn well from Delfino. He is a low risk high reward player.

Way to early to say for sure, but Alex Poythress would be a great addition. Him + T-Jones would make a ferocious SF/PF tandem off the bench.

I don't know about any of you but I am absolutely in love with Isaiah Austin out of Baylor. He's a 7 footer that started on the McDonalds all american team last year as a center, but what he does best is shoot. The head coach from Baylor (his name escapes me right now) said he was the best shooter on the team. Add that to his impressive height and his ability to post about 7 to 8 rebounds a game and about 3 or 4 assists, he looks like he could be a very good Pau Gasol type player. I only have two concerns about him and that's that A) I believe he got injured in his very first game with Baylor and B) We already have a very similiar player in Motiejunas. I think Austin is more complete than DMo, but after seeing what happened with Morris coming out of the d-league i think he'll be incredible next season.

All in all I think Isaiah fits in awesome with the offense McHale likes to run, and that one guy that had the rankings had him at 11, which would be a steal if we got him from the 10-15th pick range. A few other players I really like that we could nab are James McAdoo, LeBryan Nash, and we could even trade down into the 20s and pick up Myck Kabongo who has an incredibly high ceiling thanks to his amazing athleticism. I could see him being a Rajon Rondo type guy.

Long post but my first post on ClutchFans!

I may be biased as a New Zealander, but if Steve Adams can work on his offensive game a little, particularly with his back to the basket, he could be a great pick, depending where he goes. He dominated Nerlins Noel in a game while playing for Notre Dame Prep, so has plenty of skill now (he'll block anything), but would be a perfect back-up 1.

As a Duke fan, Mason wouldn't be a bad choice in late first round.

Irving was special from day one. I even called him a HoF lock before the draft.

Rivers has NBA talent. He is struggling, but eventually become a above average starter, borderline all-star if Hornets develop him as 2. He is not a 1-guard.

Mason Plumlee is a solid bench 6th man, backup 4/5. He is possibly one of the most athletic big in the country. I can't think of anyone in the NBA is more athletic at that size. Don't let his whiteness fool you.

He is also extremely fluid and has very good handles for his size. I don't think he will develop into a star, but he is a hustle guy. We all know that if you are 7 foot and can run like a deer, you will get a contract in the NBA. Mason will be in the NBA for a long long time.

    Size: 9/10, 6'11", 240 legit
Athleticism: 9/10, possibly the most athletic big in the draft.
    Defense: 6/10
Post Move: 6/10, looks timid last year, but this year much improved. Let's see if its an actual improvement.
Shooting: 8/10, exceptional jumper for a big
    Rebounding: 8/10
    Basketball IQ: 7/10
    Potential: 5/10, senior in college

Rubik's, I live in Pittsburgh and went to Pitt. I love this kid Adams. Been following him since he came over to the US and he is the REAL DEAL. Unfortunately, in Pitt's system he will never get the gaudy numbers that scouts love to see, but his skills are for real and very impressive

That's what I am asking too.

Do we have a first rounder or not?

Are any of these players mentally ill? I'm so paranoid these days I ask that question of everyone I meet now.

I also would like to see Saric. He had rubio numbers in youths competition, played on same level against valanciunas and kanter despite being 2 years older.

Bad news, Saric was just caught driving drunk after damaging 3 other cars. Good things is that laws in europe regarding driving while being drunk are not so strict as in USA :)
