NO to JJ Redick. I wouldn't even trade Toney Douglas for that JJ Redick.

    Rockets Get: Bargnani, Bledsoe

    Raptors Get:
    Butler, Patterson

Clippers Get: Douglas, Acy, Rockets Future 1st Rounder

    Why it works for Houston:
We get a big man who actually CAN shoot the three and MAKE it. Not a big man who THINKS he can hit threes. Also Bargnani is 7 feet tall and is the offensive side of Asik. Bledsoe is young and can work well off the bench with Delfino and Morris. He is a much better and younger player than Douglas.

    Why the Raptors do it:
They get Bargnani's massive contract off the books. The also get a veteran SF who still can play well. Patterson has a lot of potential and knows how to work with Lowry.

    Why the Clippers do it:
Clears up chemistry issues in the SF position. Acy is a great young prospect. Get a Backup PG who can learn from Paul and a future first round pick that may have a chance at being a lottery pick.

I don't see why we aren't going after Bargnani. He is only 27 and still can improve. He is 7' tall and can drain the 3. He can easily get 20 PPG with the Rockets with Lin feeding him the ball constantly and we would finally have a big man to work in the post while we wait for Asik to get that job down.

Bargnani Makes $10m this year, $11m next year, $12m the year after. No thanks.

Thats still better than what we'd end up paying players like Jefferson and Millsap. They are the same age, both at least 3 inches shorter and neither can hit threes consistently. Clearly we need help on the three point line. Bargnani could help. Hell we would probably end up paying Josh Smith a good 14 million a year. We get his offensive side from Bargnani and some, and his defensive side from Asik And some more.

You think Bargnani is better than Josh Smith, Paul Millsap, and Al Jefferson?

Never said that he is better, but he'd be better with our offense than any of them would. Also everyone is saying Gasol is a good fit. So why not go for Bargnani, a cheaper, younger, Gasol?

I don't think it makes much long term basketball sense. No significant cap space for 3 years, and i don't think that team wins more than 45 a year.

But it makes some sense in assets. For instance, if you were targeting Pau Gasol, then I think something like
    Bargnani+Morris or Parsons for Gasol
would be very interesting for the Lakers.

However, I don't think either of the other teams would take those trades.

If Bargnani is a younger Gasol, then Yao was a younger Hakeem.

Bargnani is not on Gasol's level. Dude is averaging 5 rebounds(literally 5.0) and has only shot over 45% once.

Still just want a PF who can play the PnR at an elite level. That will make Lin and Harden so, so much better.

Morris + Cook + picks for Millsap.

Would anyone here pay Landry starter money to be our starting PF if we are unable to get a big name at the PF Spot?

I like it a lot, I could see it happening.
I think that all three teams would prefer to look at it after the season. But I could see a midseason trade too, especially if the Raptors keep losing and end up like 15-35 at the deadline. They might decide to tank for a top 3 pick.

Based on how well Chandler Parsons is working out, I propose the following:

    DRAFT OTHER CHANDLERS.

    These include:

    Wilson Chandler
    Tyson Chandler
    Chandler from Friends
Anyone from the city of Chandler, Texas

    Make it happen, Morey!
