Chemistry is the issue, not the players.

    I agree man, great post. It was a great game for the team and there are so many positives, all the players including the bench had solid games.

    We shouldn't be focusing on the negative aspects of the game (but I think constructive criticism is a-okay).

    Look my friend,

    Harden is talented otherwise he won't be in Team USA;
    Lin had his share of good games, was rocking the world, its not like you can put every 3rd PG of every team in and will do the same;
    Parson made a starter his first year of NBA, and is defending the best player on the opponent team;

    A team consisted of Ryan Bowen & Weatherspoon is not talented team, this Rockets team is a talented team.

    Harden was on Team USA because of all the injuries during the summer. That's about it. He barely even played. Did you watch the games?

    Then why mention LeBron? I support my team. Doesn't mean I have to be blind to what's going on and say everything is rosy.

    Wow now people are disparaging Harden. I have seen everything. If you don't see that Harden is a great player I don't know what to say to you then. But I do agree this team doesn't have great chemistry yet, we see that in the turnovers where Parson or Harden pass the ball expecting somebody to be there & they are not. Despite all this, the Rockets are playing really well. I can't stay mad.

    If Lin hits that three, you guys would be singing a completely different tune. Have some context.

    So you just admitted to being a fair weather fan. You're only a fan of a team when they are doing good or fit your needs, right? You're not a fan of the Rockets, you're just jumping on the bandwagon because of Jeremy Lin.

    Let me tell you something, being a fan of the Rockets involves blood, sweat, and tears my friend. OK? I don't appreciate someone like you telling us how "fans" are supposed to act, criticize, or react. We were here through the thick and thin, when the Rockets were great and when they sucked, so why don't you take your definition of fan and shove it where the sun don't shine. Being a supporter of a team is a very serious thing and I don't think people in Houston take it serious enough.

    a lot players won't get a call from Team USA in their entire career, no matter how many player injured themself;
    a lot players won't score 40 pt a game EVER

    I only said Harden is talented, what's you 2 's problem?

    I only said Harden is talented, NOT that he is a superstar or anything like that.

    you could really say every player in the nba is talented then because you have to be talented to get drafted.

    all i see is a team with some players whose skills don't equal up with their contract amount right now.

    I don't understand why everybody has a problem with harden trying to win the game on his own...isnt that what we want? a superstar that wants to take those shots. Chemistry has to develop and harden has to develop into that superstar. Were a young team lol jeez take away the positives...team has heart.

    I keep reminding myself and others that we can't make any sort of an assessment, not even a preliminary assessment of the team, until at least a month in.

    The rockets should get a 15 game grace period where just about any series of mistakes are excused, as long as they remain reasonably competitive, which they are. This team is 3 and 4, and has had a chance to pull out a W in two of those losses right at the very end.

    This is hardly a horrible start. OTOH, the rockets are playing some very, very ugly basketball at times. Asik has bricked a ton of layups. Lin has thrown up an improbable number of airballs. Harden is seemingly less efficient and more turnover prone with every game.

    Again, let's be patient and give this team at least a month to show some progress.

    In the meantime, the rockets have played much uglier ball than than expected, at least based upon their spectacular results the first couple of games.

    There are a million and one posts about this already. This is not the Miami Heat with 3 top 20 players on the team. Don't see your point. This team isn't going to rebound to make it to the Finals.

    If after two timeouts, the play you run for the last shot is "give the ball to Harden and get out of the way," it ain't chemistry problem.

    Watch how Minnesota execute this play. They didn't need no superstar to make that play.
