    He missed a three.
we lost a close game when everyone thought we'd be blown outta the water by the defending nba champions.

sure it sucks that we were in it with a shot, but be proud of the TEAM for the way they performed.

everyone just calm the eff down.

They got bashed, believe me. But the fact that they both are PROVEN players gives them more benefit of the doubt. Lin is a from rags to riches, overnight stardom, mega tax refund in my bank account type of player so he will get criticized more. It has nothing else to do with it.

His wide open air ball was pretty damn funny though. Looked good then got a flat tire midway in the air and just dropped.

He's saying both Lowry and Dragic have a higher usage rate then Lin, which is correct.

This will be a huge test of character for Jeremy. He can either let this get to him, or take it as a reality check that he needs to work even harder at every aspet of his game. No more youtube vids with KevJumba, get in the f'ing gym and work like Kobe. First to enter, last to leave.

Even though Linsanity is over, his contract still looms over his head, so there will be alot of hurdles to jump, but he's been doing that his whole career so I have faith that he will overcome this.

What he does during his free time is not my business & really shouldn't be yours either. As long as he trained hard while living his life in Asia or wherever, which he did, I could care less if he went to Mars to meet the queen. That is nonsense.

Now you are comparing Lowry and Dragic to Kevin Garnett in his prime. Nice.

nope, never heard about that. i guess neither has the Rockets' entire coaching staffs apparently since they're making him defer to Harden all the time. and i guess they didn't know Lin is a point guard, not a shooting guard.

I always thought Dragic did better than Lowry last season from the games I've watched just because he had less to work with because the entire roster was depleted and somehow Him, Lee, Parsons, Scola managed to keep us afloat in the playoff race on pure heart and hustle. I thought we were going to tank mode when Lowry and Martin were out at the same time/

At least Rafer Alston would have bricked that shot instead of airballing it.

So? Did this "one of the best point guards" lead the rockets to the playoffs?
what happened towards the end of last season?

Respect and love is different, I respect Dragic as a player, but hell no I dont love him.

I mean if we as fans clearly see this, I am sure Morey and Les can see it as well.

The thing that makes me hold on to hope for him is that even when he is playing passive most of the game, he shows the things that made him Lisanity - including a great court vision and his ability to take it up for a lay up.

I just don't know, 7 games into the season, things are being done to utilize him. If it isn't playing douglas over LIn for important stretches of the game, its playing lin to stand around and be a spot up shooter.

Something has to give. It is becoming more and more evident that LIn is not gonna thrive in this env't. Make LIn the PG and Harden the SG. Let's see how that works out.

It's not even the airball that's pissing me off about Lin, it's the fact that when Harden refuses to pass him the ball, he doesn't say anything.

Lin is not a spot up shooter and should be the primary ball handler while the offense runs through Harden, just like the way it was with Lin and Melo under Mike Woodson.

The coaching system of this team has relegated Lin to a spot of 3 point shooter. Heck, he takes less than 10 field goal attempts per game. That's just unacceptable for our 2nd option on offense, at least.

As i've said in other previous threads, he's playing too passive and deferring way too much so far this season. That has got to change.

    YES.

Brooks was crucified continuously for Yao's inability to catch the ball many times when it wasn't his fault, and other breakdowns on defense. There were many posts along the lines of , "I hope he falls and breaks his leg" etc..

Lowry was criticized on his shot and his ability to open up the floor for everybody else, I was one of the biggest critics.

Dragic was torn apart as well around the same time as lowry.

Rafer...I don't think that even needs to be brought up.

Tbh, apart from knee jerk reaction the reaction towards Lin has been relatively tame compared to the others.

he needs to take at least 15 shots in a game. He needs to shoot himself out of this slump.

He needs to realize that when he becomes an offensive threat, that will help Harden's game as well.

I am getting sick and tired of him passing up good looks. That is why people don't want to pass to him.
