I knew this was gonna start happening.

Hopefully the teamwork will come eventually but that black hole isht never won the chip! Like, ever!

Lin needs to start playing to his hype.

It's in him to do so.

Otherwise....GQ and the rest will soon stop calling for photo ops, interviews, etc.

You earned the money because you showed you could play....just do that.

    Don't Cato this up!!!

And the rest.....Harden is great....but if u wanna just watch, let DM and coach know so they can accommodate that request by getting rid of you ass!

So? Some teams pin their whole hopes on a player with a 25-game college career.

Lin will not consistently play like Linsanity, but if you can do what he did in the NBA, you can at least become a decent player.

I think we can all agree he's being totally misused right now. We've seen what he and Harden can do when they're playing off of each other. Why the coaches aren't trying to cultivate that more, I have no idea. But the season's just started, and this team has very little chemistry. It took the Heat a whole season to know how to play together, and the Lakers haven't got their superteam on the same page yet, so why expect the Rockets to be a well-oiled machine in the first few games of the season?

Dragic and Lowry may be better than Lin right now. But stop treating them like Magic and Jordan.

Those guys are not game changers. You had them both on the team and Rox didn't even make the playoffs last year. Guess what, the Rocket team with Dragic and Lowry was still irrelevant in NBA. They didn't make money for Rox either because people outside of Houston gave a damn on those two players.

Lowry went to Toronto and they still sucked. Phx is barely enjoying a .500 record with Dragic.

So stop b****ing and mourning like a 15 year old boy who is still so obsessed about losing his not so attractive girlfriends. They were gone, the whole world give a damn about it so should you.

I think he does deserve criticism nobody isn't saying he can't be critisced (at least I am not). But at least use him properly is that to much to ask? Right now the Rockets are using him in a way that exposes his weaknesses & minimizes his strengths. Those are facts.

Exactly, he perpetuates this perception of asians as being passive and deferential.

He needs to realize that the Rockets paid a lot of money to bring him. He needs to stop sucking Harden's dick and play the way he knows how to play. Just dare the coaches to sit him. Be like Carmelo (yes I said it).

Otherwise, in this offensive scheme, he is going to rot and disappear. Sometimes you need to be selfish while being a team player. Its a dog eat dog game.

How do you know Jeremy Lin is not receiving criticism? Did you watch his post game interview? Do you know what he said?

Just because Lin is shooting like crap recently (there you go, if you want to hear a Lin fan, me, criticize him) doesn't mean he is a joke or trash. But if you really only want to hear word 'trash' to describe him, ok: HE IS TRASH. Happy now?

So his hyper-agressive, borderline-selfish play with the Knicks didn't count?

We all know how aggressive Lin can play, which is why we're so exasperated with the coaching staff that seemingly wants to neutralize every single one of his good points.

It's like trying to turn Rajon Rondo into Ray Allen.

Good point. While some people here are understandably upset with Lin, they have to stop acting as if Lowry and Dragic are game changing players. With the roster the Rockets had last year they should have made the playoffs if these players were as good as they are hyped to be. However they , and the Rockets failed last year. The grass isn't always greener on the other side folks.

The ultimate end product this team will become depends 30 % on Harden and 30% on the next max contract that will come in. Lin will ultimately not affect this that much.

Still, Lowry and Dragic are playing better than Lin and I hope he improves the next few games. We have a couple easier games coming so this is the best time to get the confidence going and score at least 15 points.

But the thing though is that in the first two Rockets game Lin & Harden were playing off of each other. After Harden plays like an MVP things totally changed. So that is why I am thinking that the coaches had some part to play in this. I don't know though I am genuinely trying to figure it out. I don't think there is one person you can blame though I think all parties are trying to work it out, James Lin & the coaches.

    Class act by Parsons.

Lin knows he is getting ripped right now. Actually maybe he doesn't know. Maybe all he's doing right now is reminding himself how he "only plays for God"!

No, but it's ridiculous how defensive these jeremy lin stans get when you say anything negative about him.

he's shooting 37% coming into this game and airballed a wide open 3.

the funny thing is the criticism is no where near as bad as the hate trevor ariza got on here but most of these 2012 posters would't know anything about that. :p

I agree with Parsons that one play USUALLY never should determine the outcome of a game.

I like Lin and I think he is a good bb player, but I see too much hesitation (more than one game) irt to shooting the ball. Lin just needs to let if fly if he is open, and expect it to go in. No hesitation, have some fun, and let it fly.
