Ok, for lesser educated of you out there in your moms basement...

The post that this was a reply to stated that 'Guys like Jordan would never do this' or words to that effect. The picture shows that Jordan, and guys like him, do visit each others lockers after the game to congratulate their opponent on a good game, to apologise for an on court discretion or on getting their first ring.

There was no comparisons made, that is a figment of your delusional imagination, therefore your point is rendered moot and your argument invalid.

    Have a good day.

You just lost on your own court. You should be pissed as hell. You should not be going over to the opposition asking for an autograph. That's just disrespectful to the rest of the club.

Concede basketball superiority to Lebron. For sure

    Past that:
    - The role players stepped up in Asik, Parsons, Morris, Patterson. Harden and Lin are the team's main players and didnt play up to their billing. Why is it okay for their marquee players to be who we knew them to be, and excuse our marquee players for their mediocrity?

Not saying they deserve responses of "Harden SUX / TRADE LIN" but they deserve the scrutiny as being "those" guys.

    - Ref calls cost them.

That's your only excuse? "Low usage rate derp" He played 36 minutes and didn't have a good game. That's the point. Stats like plus minus and "usage rate" are excuses for a sorry game.

    Heat loss was the DEFENSE

We put up 110 points. 110 points is enough to win games.

The problem is that we gave up 113 points.

While it's often easier to point at the final 2 minutes and say that's where the game was lost (whether due to ISO, Airball, whatever), that's NOT where this game was lost.

While at times our defense looked great, the fact is the Defense had too many lapses.

We didn't lose because Lebron went HAM all over us. Yes, he had 38 points and shot 5/8 from 3 point range, but that wasn't what got them 113 points.

Bosh shot multiple uncontested jumpers from the FT line.
Udonis Haslem wasn't properly boxed out and scored 10 points off 5 offensive rebounds in 15 minutes and a lost back cut.
Numerous players made back cuts because the defender lost their man.
There was multiple plays where 2 people would rotate to the same man and suddenly realize they had left a shooter completely open.
Ray Allen shot 2/5 at the 3 point line AND managed to drive to the rim for 8 total points because too many times he wasn't covered.

IF you lose with 110 points in regulation, it is NOT due to what our offense did.

    Just something to think about.

You know, I hear that Asik fellow is pretty good on defense. Would have been nice to have him in the final few minutes of the fourth.

This is the second game where Asik was not on the court in the final few minutes of the game I believe. Our coaching staff is showing there youth just as much as our roster. Face palm worthy.

Heavy Dose of Asik and Patterson in the post rings TRUUUUEEE!!!

Wow just got home from the game....and somebody (Sampson) went to the post for two guys (Asik & Patterson). But what do I know: i'm just a twelve yr old with dumb ideas RIGHT????

Asik - 19 pts, 14 rbs, 11-14 FTM-FTA (why he get so many free throws you ask cause he was in the paint. making Bosh, Haslem & Battier take fouls as he is making a move to the basket)

Patterson -18 pts, 9 rbs 8-14 FGM-A (around the basket making shots, getting rebounds and put backs)

Not trying to say I told yall so but now yall should know that I know basketball more time over than you guys.:grin::grin::grin:;);););):p:p:p LOL

The Rockets are a good team because their defense keeps them in it. No blowouts yet even though they've played Miami, Memphis, Denver, etc.

Actually, this is telling. Lin might be on the court, but saw him doing nothing a lot of times.

The coach is obviously using him differently and may be as a result, he is becoming more passive and losing his confidence.

Not excusing Lin by any means though. No one can defend the fact that he played scared the most of the game. That airball was just the icing on the cake.

I still have some hope left for him. However, let's he how rebounds on Wednesday. Either he can continue to falter and gain well deserved criticism or come back and shut everyone up.

Yup bad call on coach, but he coached very well overall. Great game by the rockets and if they play at this level consistently we should all be able to enjoy the season

Really tired of all the spazzes on this forum though.

For obvious reasons, I didn't see the game but in reality how many of us really expected us to win against Miami? Let's be real! They are the denfending Champs and we are hoping to make the playoffs at best.

I am taking the fact that we had a chance to win against Miami as a step in the right direction for this team. I mean after Miami got blown out by Memphis in their last game I was sure they were going to turn around and blow us out!

This team needs to find their identity, learn to beat the teams they should beat first, compete with teams who are clearly more talented, and eventually grow to maybe beat a title contender.

Newsflash people! We still have a ways to go before that last step! Enjoy the ride fellas.

lot of phantom/ superstar calls near the end of the game but good game...nice to see the Rockets bounce back after getting bashed in the opening minutes (22-5) run by the Heat I believe.

    On to the next One!!!!

Obama called to congratulate Romney for running a spirited campaign before the voters went to the polls, therefore before the election is over, and after every debate either Mitt Romney or Obama went over to the other, off stage, and shook hands, congratulated each other and had a man embrace

...once again your argument is invalid, but please continue to show the board the depth of your fountain of wisdom and knowledge.

We did NOT play "awesome" defense.

You don't give up 113 points and say you played "awesome" defense.

You don't let Bosh shoot 4 jumpers uncontested from the FT line, let Ray Allen drive to the rim, let Udonis Haslem score 10 points off offensive rebounds in 15 minutes, or lose cutters to the rim repeatedly and claim "awesome" defense.

We had periods of awesome defense. We had TONS of defensive lapses.

110 points is enough to win. If you lose with 110, you screwed up on the defensive end too many times.

Just saw Lin's post game interview. He looks completely broken. He said he is not disappointed in his effort, but clearly he looks the part.

A completely changed and broken man. ... man what happened to you.

Carl has enough rep. I do not think he needs much more since he has something better - respect.
