Feels more like one of those things where you defer to someone you know is a lot better than you rather than a coach making them. Even Toney Douglas seems more aggressive than Lin honestly.
Gee, I don't know. If you tell me the exact day and time, I might actually key you in on my daily activities.
i wish they would to get rid of these lin stans that can't take a little criticism to their man-crush
You guys knew it was coming! lol this has to be the ultimate troll video right here, with theme music and all. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/6zr8nqrxIZ8?list=UU-_UDB1WRyudSW-lZ7unQKg&hl=en_US" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Earth to Lin fan. Playing this way no fan base in the world will appreciate him. He's not doing anything worth appreciating
No friend they're not great... they're good point guards but comparing them.. two guys who have been in the league longer than Lin has is outright unfair.
Somewhere SAS, Frank Isola, James Dolan, JR Smith, and Carmelo are laughing their ass off. Thanks for giving ammunition to the haters, Jeremy. Perhaps I expected too much of you. You should've worked on your jump shot instead of dicking around in China and Taiwan.
Wow, this hate is getting out of control. Haters are getting out of the woodworks and is now hating on him personally.
Man if only he took your advice, if only... Harvard grad smarts or take some advice from some internet user, hmmmmm????
YES TD is a lot more aggressive. I don't even know what to say seems so very odd to me. But the weird thing though is that in the first two games with Lin & harden the two were playing SO well together. None of this deferring nonsense they were playing off of each other. That is why this deferring stuff seems more like a coaching thing to me. I have this vibe that they saw Harden play like a monster & then they decided to switch things around. I don't know though. It is all quite puzzling.
<br> So you make an ignorant statement and then when you look like a fool for not knowing the context of a huge point made by the coach you deflect it with a snarky attitude. Nice.
I don't see any effort from him dude. He is happy to give the ball to Harden and hide in the corner every play. The coaches don't tell him to do this. I can say this for sure because this is not how Toney Douglas plays when he subs in. Douglas plays much more aggressive than Lin in the 15 minutes he gets. He is still terrible, but plays with more aggression. Do you think the coaches tell Douglas to play more actively and tell Lin to hide in the corner ? No ! Lin had a great game against the Hawks but it has been pretty much consistently downhill from there. I am willing to give him more time. But you have to understand that if a player makes the money he is making, there are certain expectations of him. He can not just take two shots in the first quarter of every game. One thing in New York was that he never had this much pressure on him. In the early days of linsanity he was a nobody and could play however he liked. Later on when Melo came back he took some pressure off of Lin since teams would have to double Melo. Here in Houston the case is different. He has to be the second guy on this team right now. He either does not understand that or knows that and just can not live up to the expectations. If you start expecting 3-7 and 6 assists from your starting point guard every night then you are going to be in trouble as a team if you have the amount of money the Rockets have tied in him. With Lowry and Dragic though they are on better teams in the sense that there are more attacking options on the Raptors and Suns. This allows them to score more since those teams have better spacing and can't double one player on every play. On the other hand, this should also have just been the green light for Lin to go ham every night and just attack attack and attack since his team does not have that many attacking options. He is failing though. He has a lot of time in this season still and I'd request for the other posters to give him more time before they judge him. I am just admitting though that if this kind of play from him carries on he will be a major disappointment. This is not about an airball. It's about the attitude and his play overall up to today. He is playing in a very passive and should I say, cowardly manner. I can understand why many Rockets fans are upset.
Quote: he passes the ball back to Harden(like all the Rockets players do) and stand around watching, making himself a spot up shooter.Umm ,(like all Rockets players do)i "wonder"why! Camelo Anthony sure comes to mind!
somebody please use this music. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/MezCclCSjNw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Did you mean to write "stains"? Reading is FUNdamental. And you know what they say, closet homos are the first to point fingers, lol.
The airball at the critical moment made Lin look terrible, no matter how solid he performed the whole game. Enjoy your trashing Lin moment. Call whatever you want: joke, scrub trash.... and just be a man using that word to call him in all his future career.
Lol at people blaming his tentativeness on his religion. Tebow is another bible thumper that's even more limited than Lin in his specific position but he's one of the clutchest/toughest players in the NFL. Lin being a p***y that's frightened of Mario freaking Chalmers has nothing to do with him being a Christian.
