i cannot agree more. i just registered and still cannot create a new thread. otherwise i am going to say the same thing. stop Harden ISO! we want team basketball. team basketball win the game.
It was a great game, considering how poorly we did. Sampson, did a great job out there. So close... ****!
Honestly, while Harden's integration into the offense still needs work, this ALSO goes on the Defense. The Heat put up 113 points. While our defense was outstanding at times, there were multiple defensive lapses as well that made the game closer than it needed to be. It wasn't all LBJ going HAM. There were the numerous shots by Bosh at the FT line that weren't remotely contested. There were the back side cuts where the help defense wasn't there. There were times when defenders got their assignments confused, when 2 players went to double then realized part way that they had left a man uncovered. It's easy to point to the last 2 minutes and say that it was offense, but really what got us in trouble in the first place was defensive lapses throughout the game. At our best our defense was great. At numerous points, the defense broke down. Whether that's due to loss of focus or just simple confusion over defensive rotations it's hard to say. However, I expect it to improve.
You know what you did there? You compared Magic ****ing Johnson and Michael ****ing Jordan with Lebron and Harden. You compared a regular ****ing game with a NBA final which had 2 greatest players of all time playing in it. Never go full r****d again, please.
Agree with this post! It gets sick hearing Clydes two hour tribute to LeBron James and the Heat when our team was busting their assess and playing exciting ball!
Ill cut Lin some slack. The ones that need show up is Patterson and parsons, quit all that soft ****. They show up and we can beat anybody.
You keep repeating the same comment and what exactly is Jeremy Lin's strength and how is Harden failing? Not in assists because Harden had one less assist than Lin. So explain your comment and back up your statement with evidence. Otherwise you're preaching empty non sense like Lin only fans do. Be honest with yourself.
I know the iso play was not the best decision but what you do when everybody knows you are for to take a 3 pointer? What to do when the other team have a line up with everybody about the same size who can switch everything and doesn't need to defend inside the 3 point line? Lebron just took a terrible 3 point shoot before and made it. Well that what sometime you best player have to do. And remember Lebron James was the most unclutch superstar in NBA in his first years in the NBA it happen to the best players. The plays before Harden two beautiful assist, two wide open 3's. Harden pass to Parsons who gave it to a wide open Lin......... And talking about begin unclutch Wade just miss 2 crucial FTs and got bail out by bosh it happen to the best players. Anybody who's seen basketball for years knows that you best players in a team will make and take bad shoot at the end of game. Harden will not be the exception.
are you serious?!?! you dont see the difference between that situation and this?? That was the NBA FInals, and it was over. There were no more games left to play. IT was a historic moment in MJ's career. IF you can't differentiate what happened there and what happened today then you're on another planet. When the election is over Mitt ROmney and Barack Obama can congratulate each other, you dont see Obama calling Romney after the first debate to say "hey good job man!!"

The air is out of the sails............ This is the first time I've seen Lin choke late in a game...... He's normally the opposite in these situations. (The closest thing I've seen to Lin choking last season was a missed FT in Minn. The game was tied, Lin split two FTs, Knicks led by one instead of two, and a chance for Minn to win in regulation. But Ricky Rubio then dribbled the ball off his foot, and the Knicks survived. Aside from that, Lin was money.) His confidence is shot. It will be interesting to see whether he can pull out of it.
