Agree, back in the day dudes like Jordan would NEVER do this. They wanted to destroy the other teams not be pals with them. The entire NBA has gone soft.
Parsons was the one who passed it to lin but the play clearly was designed to be passed back to parsons. Infact Delfino was free on the right hand baseline. go watch it again. Everyone was shocked when lin took it.
sampson outcoached spoelstra but they had lebron and refs for the last 3 mins of the game. team will probably go back to iso ball 90% of the time with harden when mchale is back
I second that emotion. You don't congratulate someone who just beat your ass. Go work on bonding with your own teammates, moron.
I would agree to this, except that this team has been terrible making decisions in transition thus far. I hope it's just a chemistry thing.
Its hard to be positive knowing that we had a legitimate chance of actually winning the game, if not for a couple of bad calls, terrible three point shooting and an airball.
you don't wanna run-n-gun against miami. look at what happened in the 1st qrt. both teams came out with run-n-gun style but rox didn't do so well
Agreed. And keeping in mind that this is still a very raw young team, with an interim in Sampson - given that they did a spectacular job against the Heat tonight.
Not only were they not open to shoot, they were not even open to pass to. What else was Harden supposed to do? But I mark it down to an incomplete playbook on offense. It will get better.
Thank goodness for positivity. Before tonight the "fans" were expecting us to lose by 30 points. We played well for the most part and lost by 3 points. It was an exciting game to watch. We are improving.
I thought he did a good job except for 1) not bringing in Asik to defensive rebound on Wade's second free throw. I was screaming at the tv for him to do that before the free throw! Wade already missed the 1st and has not always been great at the line. 2) Keeping Lin out of the game a bit too long when things were going well with TD in the game--TD himself was not doing much; the other players were. When Lin came back, he was cold, although i was still beyond stunned at the airball.
Even though Lin is technically 100% it takes players a while to regain the same explosiveness and agility after a knee injury. Already I've noticed Jeremy can't even take his man off the dribble anymore and his extremely fast first step is not there. He also seems to be lacking the lateral quickness he had last season as well. I'm hoping he will slowly get better as the season progresses.
The coaching staff seems to be calling for him to run the offense when he works better not shouldering that load all the time that he never previously did. Meanwhile, I think we all know Lin isn't ready yet to be a true star PG but he is basically playing like a SG/SF position which due to his offensive inconsistency he isn't succeeding in outside of his hustle.
