The only problem I had with Sampson tonight was the fact that he went to slow-paced isolation basketball with 2 minutes left in the game, and the fact that he didn't have his best rebounder in the game with 8 secs left and Wade at the free throw line. Other than those, I thought he was great tonight.
Yeah, LeBron was awesome, but the refs absolutely grilled us tonight. The Morris call is still making my blood boil. What a joke.
Harden was 1-5 prior to that when you are not feeling it you go to the hot hands. that was parsons and delfino
Yeah our team just grew up by leaps and bounds after this game. I'm especially happy for Mook and Douglas, they put in some good production tonight. Especially Mook, getting the crunch-time minutes, hitting the constested clutch 3. Is this the moment he breaks out, and will become the 3rd(maybe 2nd) scoring option on this team.
Refs cost us this game, but we knew that would be tough to overcome coming into this game. To beat the Heat you have to play 5 on 8. Very hard to do unless you play a perfect game of basketball, Rockets played great but not perfect.
If the rest of the team can do half as well tonight consistently, maybe Harden can get some easier buckets. Obviously though our team is starting to gel.
I can't comprehend why this thread has two stars. It's a legit issue. this coaching staff has fallen in love with the iso/hero/teenwolf set. just run the okc plays they were running the first 2 games. i thought it was statistically proven, by the pro stat nerds that it's not an efficient play. give us democratic basketball! the people have spoken, sampson &mctalky.
refs did not cost us the game quit blaming the wrong people and blame the rockets and the coaching staff
