He's 4th on the depth chart, and 4th WRs don't get much play in this offense.

Schaub is our qb. Tate and Daniels have players who they can alternate with, meaning they have built in 'breaks' so to speak.

Tate's not going to get a lot of snaps even if he's healthy. give his carries to forsett. and by the 3rd quarter, give them all to forsett.

Screw it. You gotta win Conference and Division games...now matter how "meaningless" they seem. I'd rather lose to the Lions on Thanksgiving than to the Jags for any reason. Rest folks on Thursday, not Sunday...

agreed with the resting theory. jags are horrendous (with or without MJD given the run D)

well you missed the point entirely. we can rest players and get a win vs an injured and very bad jags team. detriot on a short week in their house you will need your full compliment of players to get a W.

this strategy is only possible because it's the jags at home.

Never overlook anybody in the NFL. Just go out there hard for the first half and blow them out, that way you can rest everybody in the 2nd half with a big lead.

I'd prefer Tate play if he's healthy. Get him some carries and let Foster get some rest...especially after this last game.

Colts have the Pats on the road and we've got Jags at home. It's about to be 3 games.

I would discount the Jags, but at the same time the Texans beat the Bears without Daniels and Tate. And I thought Daniels was severly missed and offense showed it.

I'd rest them. Not because of the Lions, but because it's a marathon not a race.

not sure why some are worrying about Jacksonville. Nothing about them screams "good". and i don't buy the "division games are always tough" argument. yea, they're tough when both teams are semi-competent. Texans will roll, easily.

I would definitely prefer them to rest. Hell, anybody that's on the mend should rest. No way Gabbert and the boys are beating us, even a weakened us. They are a subpar club.

 I agree with you, brother. Well said. No need to "sit" before they contribute, then let them rest. Just let them keep the game mentality for a while, then take them out to rest.

No one's going to be resting. This is a divisional game. They're usually tougher than others. I would like to see more big plays in the first half and more Ben Tate and Forsett in the 2nd half but most likely this isn't going to be a blow-out. d

it's like the folks discrediting this jags game have never watched football in their lives. every week you see major upsets but somehow they think we're so immune to it that we should just begin resting players as if we've won ANYTHING so far this season.

if OD and Tate are not well enough to play without fear of reaggrevating their injuries then you sit them, otherwise they play.
