From what I can tell, the op created an account just to hate on Lin. Now it spreads to Parsons, the only bright spot left from last year. Isn't there a Knick board or something on the internets?

His finishing ability probably needs to improve.

He's a 2nd round pick, what do you expect?

He's the starter because he works hard, plays smart and because the Rockets don't have anyone to challenge him for the job at the 3 spot. His jump shot is never going to be great, but at least he has improved his FT shooting.

    Parsons is glue guy 2.0.

Small sample size. He's a player who plays off of his teammates. He needs a structure to be successful and needs familiarity with the players around him. Even though he was a rookie last year, most of the other plaeyrs who had the ball in their hands were familiar with each other so it was easy for him to get into the flow.

Right now there isn't much flow offensively. Players don't know each other's tendencies well enough.

    That hurts Parsons.

I thought he would've improved a lot more based on his comments during the summer and training camp..I wasn't expecting all-star performances or anything like that but it seems as if he's actually regressed, particularly in his shooting and handles. It seems like he's getting blocked multiples times a game too, even on fastbreaks which kills easy opportunities.

He has regressed. People who are backing him up saying that he still has great D etc. are just too blind to see it. Parsons have gotten worse overall and this really has nothing to do with chemistry that most of his apologist are throwing out there. His shooting has suffered, his lateral movement is a lot slower and his drives are slow and predictable causing him to charge, get blocked, or turn the ball over. Like another poster previously mentioned, he looks "clumsy" out there. Best word to describe it.

Remember that besides Patterson, EVERYONE is new on this team. NO excuses he is the weakest link. I will gladly and hope to eat crow if he turns it around for the teams sake.

Regressed for sure. He's definitely lost the drive to prove himself. Look at Morris in comparison.

sorta like landry fields. 2nd round pick, very promising rookie season, bad 2nd year slump.

and a worst 3rd year. Lucky for him a crappy run franchise like the Raptors exist to give him a contract. Hope Parsons doesn't follow that trend..the same Chase went through here. Chase seems to be turning around this season though. Hope Morris can give Chandler a run for his money and light a fire under his ass.

Knick fan made this thread. Apparently, he's been doing his homework on the Rockets. Say CF should see why he really IS a second rounder than tells people they've ate crow. What a fukn dumbass. REALGM is that way.

Blocked for creating the worst thread of the year.

Giving up on Harden after a pair of bad games and you call yourself a Rockets fan. Despise Bandwagoners.

Since I highly doubt Mchale is getting replaced, they should tweak the lineup. Plugin Jones at the 4 behind Pat and swing Morris to the 3 ahead of Parsons. Delf/Lin/Harden split the minutes to make it work avoiding the need for Douglas.

This was a terrible idea yesterday and it's a terrible idea now, too.

Do tell about how the Rockets should relegate to the bench the player who just put up 19 / 5 / 2, including 3 for 6 from three, though. Because...you want to see some summer league trash play instead?

If CF posters are going to be bipolar and reactionary with their posting regardless, then at least go to the trouble to be consistent as well, and not continue to dump on the the lone bright spot on the roster right after he demonstrates how wrong you are.

Doubling down on a bad idea still makes it a bad idea.

Seriously? From the guy that thinks Parson's has regressed 4 games into his 2nd season? Whose jumping the gun again.

Talk about the pot and the kettle.

Has Parsons even gained 1lb of muscle between last season and now?
