You have no friggin clue. Par for the course for liberals. So you don't think producing. More oil would lower the price? Increasing the world supply won't lower the price? Keep in mind that producing our own oil would be a stable supply that would help stabilize the price even when some Middle Eastern dictator pulls a stupid stunt. Please do not forget about all the good jobs that would be created. No lets keep putting billions in "green" energy. Lets keep trying to force the issue and keep throwing money into companies that are going belly up when our country is 16the TRILLION in debt with no end in sight.

I support self-determination - but for leaving the union I think you should need a supermajority of like 75%. People saying you will kill people to prevent Texas from leaving are a little crazy...I understand killing to protect your own, but killing people to keep Texas in the USA?

Speaking of self-determination - I LOVE that the democrats have a supermajority in California now and can vote in the massive tax increases they want. They make a great little example of a socialist state for the rest of us.

You know, I remember you saying this to just about everyone in the weeks leading up to the election, and it turned out you were 100% wrong. At some point, you need to do some self reflection.

If protecting the USA is crazy, then call me crazy.

Over 130 people are dead in the Northeast as a direct result of this mindset. This includes young kids washed away to drown.

We should invest as much in green energy as possible, in order to prevent the same from happening to your kids and grandkids in the future.

I think we should make a trade with Mexico. We'll give them the people who sign the petition and in return they can send us migrant workers.

At least the migrant workers want to be in the U.S.A.

Texas V White anyone.. Also didn't the states have to sign an ironclad that secession was never legal when they rejoined the Union?

I guess we can just ignore the supremacy clause...

I dislike Obama as much as the next guy, but this is dumb.

I've been ruminating for years how we could kill (pun intended) two birds with one stone.

Texas wants to be its own country?
We want stabilization in the Middle East?

Give Texas to Israel. So many problems solved so easily.

What a complete waste of time.

But Texas can divide into five separate states, and I find that extremely fascinating.

Any state can be divided into new states with the legislatures approval. It's somewhere in article 4.

Yep, you have all the answers. Too bad they're mostly ignorant and wrong.

The price of oil is not simply dependent on supply. The fact is we produce more oil than we ever have and it hasn't lowered the price. There's such a thing called demand in the world and it continues to rise faster than the increase in supply. Guess what that causes. And this is where we get into the math problems you struggle with. Putting billions into green energy puts billions into the economy and puts people to work. The amount of money we spend on our military to watch dictators perhaps could be spent on something more productive, like R&D for new energy which has a benefit of moving us towards actual energy independence rather than talking out of your ass about it the way you're doing.

But don't worry -- Obama is picking winners like Solyndra so we will have all green energy and MANY green jobs very very soon!
