Yep, it ludicrous to think that there are any working people in those parts of Philly that are capable of that kind of logic.

    Right???

This type of arrogance is exactly why you lose..... poor people, working class people, minorities, women and young people are not stupid, they have ears and eyes.......

Wow... This is one of the reasons Romney lost. People get tired of hearing they don't work hard and are freeloaders. I hope you guys keep talking like that.

Do you ever actually think about these subjects, or do you just accept whatever "feels" right?

I mean, you really think that these neighborhoods are filled with people who don't have jobs? You really think that people aren't capable of recognizing that Romney was very anti-working-class?

    basso has reading comprehension.
It's voting divisions or wards not district.

    BTW, the article also says:
"In 2008, McCain got zero votes in 57 Philadelphia voting divisions. That was a big increase from 2004, when George W. Bush was blanked in just five divisions."

I am sure the repub nuts have looked hard for voting fraud the past 8 years too.

Those 59 districts are the most educated/hard working areas in the country

    From the link basso posted:

"In a city with 1,687 of the ward subsets known as divisions, each with hundreds of voters, 59 is about 3.5 percent of the total."

Has anybody from these districts come forward to say that they voted for Romney? I mean, if my vote was stolen, I'd be calling somebody.

I think the news here is not that there is voter fraud, but that in 59 separate divisions, each encompassing "hundreds" of voters, not one single person voted for Romney.

It might be news to you that black inner-city philadelphians didn't give a **** about Romney/Ryan, but considering that he polled as low as zero percent among black voters nationwide, and finished with the second worst showing ever (6%) by a Republican with black voters, it's not news to the rest of us.

Regardless, I think when 59 divisions, taken together, vote 19,605 to 0, that is news.

This is what the nincompoops on the far right fail to realize.

You don't think that if there were in fact anyone in those districts who voted Romney that they wouldn't of let the world know by now...."Hey whats going on I was in those districts and I voted Romney"

Go back to building miniature statuettes of the real people in your tower at Notre Dame, hunchbacks.

if you think it's anomalous, and that's why it's news, it appears to be consistent with other data points. I could probably find multiple unanimous Romney districts in Mormon/rural areas of red states. Do you find that news?

If you can find 59 or so divisions/districts that when taken together total 19,605 or so to 0 in a city, I would find that newsworthy.

I would not find it newsworthy if one could find 59 districts (around 20,000 votes) across a number of states voting unanimously for a candidate.

Would you be surprised to find 0 obama votes, if I physically transported those unanimous Romney areas into a high density urban area with a completely homogenous ethnic makeup?

Look, at the end of the day Romney got zero votes, because a bunch of urban black poor people were voting their interests, who he expressly disavowed.

Get a clue and move on to the reallity based community, or delve fully into voter fraud wet dreaminess...no need to be so coy with the "newsworthy" canard.
