Rockets might keep it close if Harden goes off or if LeBron has an off game. I think Chandler can do as good of a job as anyone outside of maybe Taj Gibson or Ron Artest guarding LeBron. Stil, even if Chandler plays all world defense on LeBron his stat line is likely to be 24 / 6 / 6. I would love to see TJ in the starting line up tonight. I could see him and Asik provising some great interior defense. I am also curious if Mook Morris will continue to play well.
Epic in a good way or bad way? I would be the first to get super excited about this game if this were the 3rd game of the season after the hot 2-0 start. But seeing our atrocious shooting and crazy high number of TO's since that time, well lets just say this is the worse time to be playing the defending champs. There is no avenue to a win here.
I have a feeling Harden is gonna go off tonight because: 1) I think he wants to get rid of that bad taste in his mouth after a poor showing at the finals. 2) he hasn't been shooting the ball well and he knows he needs his A+ game to even have a chance to beat the Heat. 3) he's been running away from interviews which makes me think he's trying to get 110% focused for this game. But, this is just my opinion. I hope I'm close to being right or else we'll get hammered. Go Rockets!
I'll be watching the Rockets play tonight at buffalo wild wings off of 290 and spring cypress. I'll be wearing my old school yellow rockets shirt. Go Rockets Beat Queen James, Wade Phillips, Jesus Shuttlesworth, and the Predator!
I think in the sense that it will be entertaining regardless of the outcome, and that it will be exciting to see how much more this Rockets squad has gelled as a team, how much better they understand each other's tendencies and the offensive system to minimize those turnovers, to what extent the crowd will carry them in a wave of hot shooting against a tired Heat team, etc. It will be the game of the night!
no it's not. 3-4 no big deal, nothin to see here etc. just hoping harden can get his. or lin, either way... but probably not.
You're nuts. Miami is the ONE team you NEVER want to turn into a transition race, especially when you don't have a credible bench. Slow it down to halfcourt, park Asik in the paint, and take their ridiculous athleticism out of the mix. There's only 2 ways you're going to slow down Miami... pack the paint with Bigs, or shoot lights out from behind the arc with lots of ball movement. B2B or not, you're not going to outrun Miami, especially with THIS roster.
My friend has the sun network that airs the heat games, would he be able to watch the game or will it be blacked out?
If we want to be identified as a fast break team, we need to cut our teeth against the best. They can beat us on talent, but no way they should beat us by out working us.
If some so called royal rockets fans had predicted Lin would have a horrible game against the Heat already, why start him? Start some one else and trade Lin.
To be honest, starting TD against the Heat is not a bad idea. Why expose Lin? He might even have trade value for Gasol. Miami exposed Lin the last time, and he arguably was never the same again!
If you don't want your team's young players to gain experience by playing elite teams, win or lose, and prefer to chicken out, then so be it. I don't mind the trade at all. as I said, I love it.
It'll be different this time. Lin will be playing with a small forward who won't be sandbagging it to get his coach fired.
