did the lakers get over on everyone...again..again. I don't even know why you pick the phone up when they call. obviously it's probably a three way call with commissar stern on the other line.

Lets see the scola got cut. Lamar got cut. Kmart was pretty much dumped, and goran was a free agent. So the Hornets could either have 10-13th pick or have a 10-13pick + eric gordon + Anthony davis. I think stern did well for the hornets.

Uh the Hornets tanked you morons it was their pick. Its lnot like the Hornets benefitted from the trade immediately last year once the trade was made....this Bynum/Howard thing happened only this summer how about we wait until the rest of the pieces pan out?

But the point was making about the Gordon thing was, he was the centerpiece of the Paul trade that Hornets wanted and hes barely played so dont point hte finger at the Lakers...and if they want to reap the benefits like the Hornets did they should tank this year

This was just stupidity By Philly. Bynum is broken. He needs to get to the root of the problem, which isn't his knee. However, is knee may have been damaged so much by now that it may not even matter.

Surprisingly, Philly's still playing well. And (luckily for the 6ers) this hurts Bynum FA value.

Who was the reporter from Philly who wrote an article about how the Sixers dont want to be "like Morey and the Rockets."

Maybe a little analytics would have told them they shouldn't bank on the future with a center in his mid 20's that can barely play a half of a season on his broken down knees that have already have experimental surgery on them in Germany.

    Buy low, sell high.

The clever Lakers really did dump Bynum when his trade value was at an all-time high. He may never replicate last season in terms of health and production.

Meanwhile, Dwight Howard is still jogging around on the court, bad back or no, and putting up monster numbers for L.A. as the consensus best center in the league. And Iggy is becoming exactly the playmaking / defensive stopper glue guy George Karl always wanted but couldn't turn Wilson Chandler or Carmelo Anthony into.

It's obvious who won that trade: Every team but Philadelphia.

one thing to remember is that shaq used to miss alota time from nagging injuries and a toe and his teams were uber succcessful, Bynum can have that same path if he can get past this current setback

Where's the moronic Philadelphia Inquirer writer who wrote that article blasting Morey for never making a move for a superstar, and then lauding Philly for pulling the trigger on a deal for Bynum?? Of course he won't show his face now that things are obviously not as cut-and-dry with Bynum, and Morey has landed his big fish.

Did Philly ever ask Bynum to pass a physical?? I understand that ultimately, it's all about Bynum signing that extension, but if he's out for the majority of this season, then that was a bad move on the Sixers' part.

Damaged goods... Interesting how Bynum as a free agent will attract offers, from Philly or from other clubs

And many Rockets fans were salivating the prospect of landing Bynum if not Howard.

Full medical records are exchanged as part of every player trade in the NBA.

That said, there has been some grousing and some circumstantial evidence that the Sixers organization is disguising the true extent and severity of Bynum's past injuries in order to minimize bad PR over the trade from their fans.

Philly knew the risks. I'm sure they're still happy with the trade compared to the treadmill they were on before.
