We should also get Anthony Davis too, seeing as there is no better young center prospect than him. While we are at it, let's fix the lack of attendance in TC by getting more fans to come in. No way any coach in his right mind commits on the chance that the team "might be better" after making unknown moves. Could go the other way. What if harden turns out to be mediocre, what if...." Coach like Phil comes back only for a ready built title contender. That's not the rox right now

I can tell you why not.... The Rockets already have a coach, and there hasnt been one ounce of dissatisfaction directed towards McHale from the Rockets management. A limited amount of uproar from online fans is not enough for them to fire their coach after 6 games.....especially considering the plan for this year was to rebuild. I dont care what Les says every year....there is no way they honestly thought they were anywhere close to being relevant a month ago.
Phil Jackson is not really mobile now. He would not be able to make the road trips. You think Royce is an issue with road trips, how bout a head coach that cannot make it.
Dude wasnt going to go with LA, with an old Kobe and old Nash and a "not" number 1 option in Howard he needs a top 3 player to develop a team around... he is not going to come to the Rox with a bunch of rookies and a couple of good but developing players... Jackson needs to stay retired he has nothing left to prove
