Update on petition for Texas to withdraw from the US

    25,000 signatures are needed within 30 days of the exact creation of the petition for the Obama administration to review it. As of day 3, Texas has 11,000+ signatures.

    So what happens when, by day 30, Texas has 100,000 signatures?

    Hope it happens, could fulfill my Olympic dreams, even though it would be Winter Olympics...can't imagine too much competition for the newly formed Republic of Texas!

    Pretty sure whoever reads this stuff at the White House would just have a good laugh over this stuff and would not be too surprised that there are 25,000 or whatever it is butt-hurt wingers in Texas.
