Complete Republican meltdown. First they want free stuff, they're freeloaders, and won't take responsibility for their lives and now they want to work harder and pay more taxes. Make up your damn minds.
For an old guy you really are on twitter a lot. Do you not have better things to do? How about think up new nicknames for Obama! I don't think 'The Once' will work anymore.....lol basso.
basso, what happened on Tuesday night? How could you have been so horribly, massively, stupendously in error? Has this caused you to question your sources for information? If not, why not? Do you enjoy being a rube?
This is actually a valid point, however, the maximum was generally at a company's discretion. For example, ours was $8000. EDIT: That being said, the "now they tell us" part is a misnomer. This has been news since ObamaCare passed.
This is true for you and I and most other people. But basso only repeats what he gets told by his anti-Obama hate machine. Since they weren't talking about this issue, basso wouldn't know anything about it. The "they" he refers to in "Now they tell us" is whatever ridiculous source he gets his news from.
It's truly incredible how uninformed boobmilk basso is. But, that's par for the course when you're unable to think critically and are incapable of original thought. It also leads to plagiarizing and telling bald-faced lies about your wife having to quit her "job" because America completely and utterly rejected his ideology. The modern GOP...whining it's way to irrelevance.
Yep. He should have been harping on this the entire time because it is an actual "tax" hit from ObamaCare that folks can realistically point to and "blame" on ObamaCare. Folks don't have to resort to hyperbole or misdirection to complain about this issue.
It is a valid complaint for someone who uses it. For example, I could have $8000 funneled into my health care account pre-tax in 2012. Next year, I can only funnel up to $2500. Using 35% as an example tax rate, that is around a $2000 hit.
Agreed - a part of the reason the right lost this election was purely self-inflicted. There were very real things to complain about or challenge, but instead the right decided to create boogeymans or focus on silly things that everyone laughed at. Basso's new questions in the Libya thread are a perfect example. Those are *great* questions to ask, but the right instead decided to focus on "when did Obama refer to this as an act of terror", as though anyone cared about that.
Folks with kids can easily hit this with deductibles, braces, vision care/hardware, etc. My wife had a couple of procedures this year that upped our out of pocket expense.
