LOL, D'Antoni would have delayed his knee surgery if he knew Brown was going to be canned so soon.

Erm no way in hell. Not a worthwhile trade unless it would make us a title contender and it would not. Also Steve Nash has been looking like a glorified Steve Blake before injury and in the preseason. He is also 38 years old.

He was great last season but that was when he had total control of the offense and now he doesn't have the Phoenix Suns Medical team to take care of him.

Nash can't defend the low post, nor can he play in the low post, so this would be a pointless move.

Maybe the Lakers want to dump Princeton and upgrade to Harvard.

This sounds like a I live in LA, send Lin to LA kinda deal.

When you propose trades, ask yourself why each team would agree to it.

I don't understand your poll, what are you asking?

You should know that whenever someone mentions trading lin to a great team they are most likely LOFs who are mad at the criticisms he's receiving and therefore wants him traded to a championship caliber team. That's why this topic is stupid since it doesn't benefit either team. Lakers are win now so they don't want Lin and Rockets are in rebuild mode so they don't want an old guy.

If we are talking short term, which I assumed, Nash is easy choice.

Long term of course Lin. Nash has 2-3 good years left at most.

Considering this team Lin is probably the better fit as the Rockets are really young.

    Give it a rest already.

The Rockets just signed the guy and by all accounts still like him.

I get that you people would not have signed him in the first place but the Rockets did. The sooner you accept it the happier you will be. No matter how much you wish him gone, an no matter how many threads you start about trading him for Nash, Dragic, Lowry, Lisa Leslie or Jar Jar Binks, LIN IS THE GUY THE ROCKETS CHOSE OVER ALL THE PEOPLE YOU DREAM OF TRADING HIM FOR.

Lin is not going anywhere anytime soon. You don't have to like it, but you do need to come to terms with it.

You can file this right next to the fact that Dwight Howard will not be signing here as a FA, the Rockets aren't going to trade Harden back to OKC in order to get Lamb back, and there will be no Royce White for Tyler Zeller trade.
