What mistake? You mean the screen? That was what the screen is supposed to do, get Jeremy Lin off his man. So that was not exactly a mistake, was it? Or were you referring to something else, heh :grin: ?

 

Lin had played only 13 min to hardens 20. Either he had an injury(doubt) or Sampson is not a firm believer in him just like the rest of rocket coaching staff. I heard that Michael was livid when they signed Lin. More and more I think there is something to it. Unfortunately for Lin, this isn't gonna help his development. He needs to speak up and stop being a quiet b****.

This. I realize he should have the ball for the last shot at the end of quarters but he always seems to miss and never passes. It's become beyond predictable.

 

Not when the coaches aren't interested in letting him play you won't. How do you expect him to do anything when he gets ZERO screens set for him and is told to constantly go camp in the corner and play as a spot up shooter?

Looks like the same bias that has dogged Lin his entire career followed Lin from Woodson to McHale to Sampson.

 

it's different.

Asik is your best big man and he has 2 fouls, Lin had 0 fouls.

I'll see what happens, and hopefully Sampson proves me wrong but I feel that he doesn't have any interest in seeing Lin suceed.

 

if mchale is coaching i bet Lin's minutes will be up to 22

 

Mateen Cleaves was a bum on the court and the same as a announcers

 

coach is a LOF, they just plan to wear harden out to injury, so they are gonna sit waiting linsanity...

 

maybe saving Lin for next game who knows

 

Stop overreacting nobody hates him. After that fast break where he didn't want to get blocked by Prince Sampson called him over & was talking to him. I have seen no sign of anybody hating him. What you see as yelling at him I see coaching. Nothing wrong with that.

 

There's over-reaction on alot of sides.

Fans of Lin, those who aren't fans of Lin, people who want more rookies played, people complaining about the rookies being played, people complaining about Harden getting too many touches, and those complaining he needs the ball more.

Really, the team is up at the half, ball movement is improving. I actually saw a few picks/screens and some offensive playsets.

SO much complaining about the rotations... let the game play out.

And yah there were some bad plays, but it's expected with this young of a team.

I don't expect tons of pretty basketball right now... flashes of nice stuff is about as hopeful as you can realistically be with this crew.

 

Don't mind him, he's a LOH.

 

u tell me about it, but in McHale's defense...i don't think Harden had a lot of PNR's run for him and he's a good PNR player

as a LOF, i am prone to overreaction but it's not without merit...

we'll seen how Lin got treated before in the past, so we'll see what happens

And i don't represent the LOF demographic. I'm just pretty outspoken right now

 

Sampson sucks. Offense still looks terrible but at least he played Jones

 

They're not paying that much, that's why they don't care.

 

Lin played ok i thought. He started looking for his shot and he needs to keep doing that.
