The only other time I can recall rooting for A&M before today was during the Cotton Bowl when they played Notre Dame. My son was wearing a burnt orange Longhorns t-shirt, and we literally gave each other 5 when the Aggies intercepted that pass at the end of the game. :)

What a great game. Congrats to all the longtime A&M supporters here.

    OK, here goes:

Major props to Sumlin and the Aggies for being able to finish tonight what they couldn't earlier in the year. Awesome game. Great recovery for their offense in the 4th quarter after being stifled in the 3rd.

Major props to Johnny Football for his incredible improvement as a passer during the season. This was a Heisman-worthy performance. Manziel earned his invitation today.

In losing, props to AJ McCarron.

Thanks Max. I am just happy that I personally survived this game without a trip to the cardiac wing.

As a long suffering Ag (class of '89) I only have the following to say...

    WHOOOOP!!!!!!!!!!

(ok, I have a bit more to say)

If Manziel doesn't at least get some mention/maybe an invite to New York for the Heisman, it will be a disservice to him. That was just about a perfect game by him. 24 of 31 passing (probably at least 3-4 drops) for 253 yards 2 TDS and no INTs.

He finally gets some well deserved recognition. He's not just a gaudy stats guy. He got it done on the road in the 4th Qtr against the the best team in the nation.

Also, some well deserved accolades to Swope, Evans, the Aggie Wrecking Crew defense and the coaching staff who got that team so well prepared.

MAN its good to be an Aggie tonight!

And his timing is perfect. His first year at A&M and he has Manziel waiting for him.

Glad Texas doesn't have to face this beast of a team this year. Just, wow. Dominance and it was awesome!

Me too but the bias was so obvious in this game.Aggie wr's were interfered with on nearly every play in the 2nd half and couldn't get a call.bama's db's were definitely outclassed today ... Nice to see them pull it off in spite of the ref's.The BS spot on the 4th down, that resulted in the bama TD,was a huge turning point.

That kicker has to go now ..A&M should have an open tryout to the student body and find a 12th man ...dude seriously sucks ..I've seen Jr. high kids with better legs.

so game is over, you defeated the South, now it is time to realize you did that for The Four Horsemen of the 2012 Apocalypse.

You know I'm right. We needed the Core to help us slaughter the South. But we shall take over from here. Join us or die. It's that simple.

    So it is written
    So it shall be done

It sounds like you're giving an awards acceptance speech. I have so many people to thank, the wrecking crew, coach- I couldn't have done it without you!

It's just a win, one we'll all forget in 1.5 years. But man... it means a lot. So many detractors. Naysayers. So many pee-pee games. So, so many.

Can't really say anything now. It is what it is.
