Just like how Rudy T made up all that bladder cancer when he had to step down from coaching the Lakers? Bad things happen all the time. To imply that it's made up as cover for a coaching change is pretty damn awful, though.
Last edited by J.R.; Today at 03:53 PM. and clutch posted the rest of the press release at 3:51: “Kevin is a devoted family man who is needed back home in Minnesota at the moment,” said Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey. “The Rockets organization will keep Kevin and his family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.” ^this part changes a lot. anyway, nobody wished ill will on him, chill.
Treat him like the past injured players. Let him earn hiis way back to the head coaching (starting) position. But seriously, I hope everything's okay. As a Rockets fan though, I'm excited to see if any rookies will get playing time.
We'll probably win but it won't be because Mchale's not there, more because we're playing the Pistons.
Woohoooo...! A pseudo-celebrity appearance! Tell em KD. There are those who must pay for their crimes.
Sincerely hope everything gets worked out with whatever is going on. That aside, I think a lot of people are being completely unfair asking for him to be fired already. We turned over 90%+ of the roster and have no veteran leadership. Plenty of coaches don't play rookies until late in the season -- see Adelman, Rick. I wasn't thrilled with the hiring but I think he has some good leadership qualities. I think he could be a good fit for a team that's ready to contend should we find another star.
