McHale wont be fired this season. They can talk about playoffs all they want but i doubt they really expect to make it. Only way I can see McHale being fired this year is if he continues to not play the rookies if the team continues to struggle. It wont be until the second half of season if at all. I think the Rockets are just waiting for the young guys to prosper a little or get another good player. That way they will have the top coaches in the league wanted to come here.
Sigh. Yet another freaking fire McHale thread. Jesus find something else to write about. This is a 34-48 team that had its offensive playbook torn up 3 days before the start of the season. And you expected what? My guess is that through 5 games this is much more than the Rockets organization had expected. And for many reasons I believe that McHale is exactly the coach the Rockets want. So get over it please. I don't believe he is going anywhere in the next couple of years.
