They fit just fine the first 2 games when they were just freely balling..

Blame the poor offensive schemes and sets.

McHale isn't even running an NBA offense though.

I've seen high-school teams with more complexity than this mess out there.

Game is down to the last shot. 5 seconds left, Cavs to inbound, Suns up by 2.

^ It's not like we were leading 3 pts or sth. We were trailing so gambling defense was somewhat needed.

Also, remember how good this team was in preseason on the break? Lin was making football passes, lots of fast break points, high offensive rating.

After McHale implemented this new offense everything is half court, iso, no up and down or fast breaks. Harden almost always gets the outlet and slowly brings it up court to run that same offensive set so no real chance for full court football passes by Jeremy, one of the things he actually excels in.

Dragic carried that team to victory, back from a 26 point deficit.

Lins usage rate is also way to low. He needs to be used more he isn't getting to be a decision maker with the ball in his hands enough that is what he is great at.

I would love to implement alot of curls and screens for Harden and other players to run through ala Rip Hamilton to help facilitate scoring instead of this ISO madness.

Who the hell plays what basically amounts to a 7 man rotation at the beginning of the regular season, lol. Even the stubborn and offensively impotent JVG would play a legitimate 8 man rotation. Teams in the NBA Finals usually don't even play a 7 man rotation...smh at McHale, smdh, lol.

Grizz is just better team. with much more talent.
that being said, still a couple of point.
Lin...i don't care how clutch u are, umm..1-3qr matters too.
i know he struggles with tight, pressure defense but tonite's performance was just sad.
and too many turnovers, Geez. u can't win with 20 tos
pat was invisible, parsons shot well. good sign. and Beard...I know he was challenged by an elite defender, but really disappointing performance as well. So Best Backcourt in NBA?
    still long way to go.

Delfino had scott skiles as a coach (who was ok)

Harden had Scott Brooks as a coach (who was good)

    Now both got McHale (Bad)

I turned off the game in the middle of the 4th qtr, it was too depressing to watch, I then read that Lin has a little of his 4th quarter magic....... The way he was playing earlier, I wouldn't have expected it. He looked like Bambi transplanted to the streets of South Chicago.

The coach has no clue in the matchups dept. He keeps T Jones on the bench while his team gets killed on the boards. I'm now reading about Harden suddenly being disgruntled...... Sounds like the Lowry situation all over again.............

until harden realized that he is nota pg, we will continue to lose.
until mchale stop telling lin to pass and stand in the corner, we will lose
until we start playing pick and roll, we, will not win
watch lins team last year, completel different than the way we play

Well said! I didn't notice it until this game, but it seems during the last 4-5 minutes of the last quarter especially when they're playing catch up, Lin is thinking to himself "Fu** this, I'm playing this my way". You can see it in his eyes and body language. He had the same "look" when he dumped 38 on the Lakers. Actually, I noticed this when watching Gerald's highlight vid a couple of games ago.

That is so dumb. He is going to kill our starters. They are playing way to many minutes. How do you expect us to close out games when guys are playing so many minutes. We are getting diminishing returns now.

yea, scoring, specifically, shooting is mostly confidence/rhythm/mojo. if you not involved in the offense, especially by design (not saying it is by design wth regards to the Rockets, by in general). If you don't have the any of those going in the game, well guess what, you gonna suffer in other aspects of the game too.

ps do rednecks watch basketball and nascar, that's a wierd dichotomy.
