And he didn't call a time out until they scored like 12 points in a row. Contrast that with Hollins who called two time outs in the fourth when we even went on a 6 point or less run.
I'm curious and this is a serious question. Is McHale here as a lottery coach? Like a warm body until we build a contending team?
I dont understand why they arent practicing these scenarios on practice days...pressure the heck out the ball and make Jeremy initiate the offense quicker...he has the speed to attack the rim...but his job is the PG...and he must get the set started much earlier... Secondly hate it when he dribbles towards the corners as he is bring the ball up...and then dumps it off to the big...he needs to maintain the dribble and Coach has to make him deal with physicality... Regardless...PG must improve...but without good coaching vision...its kinda hard to learn from mistakes...
"For a team that's trying to run, we got nothing going. We botched breaks. We just did not play well offensively." - Kevin McHale SOLUTION:
Fire Mchale NOW!! Don't wait...he's teaching them bad basketball habits...it's funny how Lin & Harden looked best the first two games when they were just doing their thing..3 days of practice of Mchale "Coaching" and they regress dramatically...McHale is hurting the chemistry and confidence of our young team. This is the year we should be developing our rookies not have them sit on the bench..Just Horrible!! Another month of this and the confidence of our players may be completely destroyed!! He doesn't put players in position to succeed, he doesn't form the offense to players strengths. Our players playing out of position... Harden & Lin..get him out now!!
I just don't like him. He seems care-free. We need a serious coach. Especially for all these rookies.
*Time out huddle* Team: Coach what play you got McHale: I have no play but Lin you run to the corner and just stand there, Harden try to get some fouls and Pat just shoot 3's Rookies: what about us McHale: nothing your not gonna be playing
Growing pains happen with young guys. We have 3 rooks who blew up in SL but haven't seen an NBA minute despite 3 losses in a row. WHere is the growing in that? WHo do you want to grow? Carlos Delfino? Toney Douglas?
