Why does Lin only show up in the dying minutes of the fourth quarter? That's three games in a row that's happened now.

He looked like he didn't even belong in the League before that 10-0 run then he suddenly looks like Isiah Thomas. its beyond baffling.

Playing Detroit will make us look better and maybe ease up on the hurt that Miami is going to bring on us.

I'll summarize this game for you:

Poor ball handling skills by Lin

Harden shut down by one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA

Grizzlies have too much size, better players, and better team.

Rockets have a terrible coach who sticks with the same terrible rotation.

that is what a good bench can provide. harden and lin were struggling ang being hounded and turning the ball over. granted, that's a memphis strength, but why don't we try someone off the bench other than mook and delfino. delfino should be brought in, see if he's got his shot going. if not yank him, he is a situational and one-dimensional player. if i don't see some rookies soon i am gonna cut a lot of freaking people.

Lin needs to show up 4 quarters instead of 2 (1st and 4th). He's deferring way to much. He's 2nd on the team in scoring, but only 3rd in shot attempts (Ppat 2nd).

Harden needs to play within himself. Maybe those 2 epic games inflated his ego. 18 points on 18 shots w/ 5 TOs.

Parsons had a great game. Hopefully out of his shooting slump.

Asik is always good for defense and boards. We're just going to have to accept the handful of horrible plays where he bobbles/mishandles the ball. If he can limit those to 1-2 per game I'd be ecstatic.

Patterson had a hard match-up tonight, but I hated his effort. He didn't even want to battle for boards and gets completely disinterested if he's not involved on the offense. ZBo and Speights combined for 11 offensive rebounds.

Its not his distribution that was bad, asik couldnt catch the ball and his teammates couldn't hit open shots. My problem with lin is that he is so passive, and is passing up open shots which he should shoot to free up space for harden

    Rockets:
    40.8% FG (31-76)
    33.3% 3-PT FG
    93.3% FT

    Grizzlies:
    37.2% FG (35/94)
    31.6% 3-PT
    73.9% FT

Roughly same number of rebounds only Grizzlies had +10 on the offensive glass.

We lost the game due to giving up second shot opportunities from poor rebounding.
Z-Bo alone had 5 more rebounds than both Parsons + PPat combined. 9 rebounds total from the front court is just not acceptable.

I'm fine with Asik's production. He's too beastly on the boards and on defense to sit him for more than half the game. Yes, his inability to make plays with the ball or finish around the basket is frustrating. But you can win with a center who isn't a good scorer.

The bigger problem for our offense is the lack of consistent outside shooting and the lack of a post-up threat. We may want to move Patterson to the bench and just go really small with Delfino and Parsons at forward. At least that should help our 3-point shooting and space the floor more for Lin and Harden.

I'll let the game against Miami slide, but looking scared because of ball pressure by...Jerryd Bayless is unacceptable. If Lin doesn't get it together, every PG is going to play full court pressure and essentially take him out of the game.

Probably because that's the time when he feels that he has nothing to lose.

Jeremy Lin was awesome with the Knicks because he played like someone who had nothing to lose.

I think he's playing way too self-consciously right now. He knows there has been a ton of scrutiny on him, and while he is burning to prove his detractors wrong, he also doesn't want to take the reins only to crash.

The coach needs to put Lin in charge of the offense once again. Everything was going well until McHale apparently decided that the Rockets were really "Harden and Company".

I can't even watch the ****ing games, but I follow on my phone. I still don't get this 7 man rotation and playing our starters so many damn minutes. What's the point of even having Jones or DMO on the team if they aren't going to see the floor? McHale was a horrible hire and I hated it from the beginning. ISO, get a clue to moron. It's not working obviously, and Pat should be a bench player, period. Kind of glad in a way I can't watch as I would probably be breaking my remote by throwing it every game.

Get rid of McFail, give the rooks SOME time to play. We're not a championship team, we're young the the rookies need playing time. Cole is a joke, I'd put Jones in over him 9 times out of ten. Just a tall white stiff.

I figured the rocks would lose this one. Playing the grizzles is like playing against a bunch of sumo wrestlers. The grizz are big, ugly, and physical. And they can grind out a win against anyone.

I've been a kevin mchale fanboy for so long, it's sad to admit that my fanboy-ism prevented me from stating the obvious. The man of a thousand moves is out of coaching moves.

Sadly, he cannot make any adjustments, even the most rudimentary, when things aren't working.

His decision to run the offense through Asik in game3 is one of the worst coaching moves I have ever seen at this level.

We have to plead with morey to fire mchale.
