Listen, I am a huge Lin fan, but this is the truth. Lin does play off his man a lot to help on D. During the course of the game, this has it's place, but not during crunchtime. If his man hits an uncontested 3 pointer, then he looks the fool. There is no reason for it really, during critical parts of the game, he needs to be on his man like a pair of fruit of the looms.

If you said logic fail then what you wanna point out is HARDEN CAn't shoot, and you wanna let him to be the main shooter? logic fail"

if you wanna answer "just look at first 2 game" yes harden main shooter, and lin main handler, just get over it,

i am sorry if i am wrong, but this is my opinion

If all you can do is talk about Lin all day, why don't you go to a Lin fansite and talk.

+/- for the most part doesn't say much.

Going by that Pondexter with a +12 is > Conley, Gasol, Allen, and Gay who were all negative.

If only Harden makes it rain on the court, rather than at strip clubs

I hope someone finds out why 2pats turned down Lin's request for a screen.

    McHale:

Bad spacing, we weren't moving the ball or the defense. They locked in on us. That's 3 games of that. We need more movement earlier in the clock.

We didn't get many D rebounds and didn't get anything either on the fast break. We did not play well offensively. They're battling on D but our O is letting us down.

I agree, he can be a scoring threat. When he plays so passively Harden will be doubled teamed every possession, and 4-18 will be the result.

That said, Lin was a tad more aggressive this game by driving, but he didn't have the gonads to take it to the hope and draw the foul.

Good observation! I didn't even think about that.

I've noticed Amazing Players don't Make amazing coaches. McHale doesn't seem to know what he is doing.

No movement, no movement is what McHale has been saying for the past three games. He can't make these guys learn it seems.

Thoughts on the game: Harden can't get an open shot and needs to let it come to him, not force it.
Lin is having major problems with his ball handling and getting open shots for his teammates and getting physical with the other point guards.
Asik can't catch the ball for Christ sake.
Parsons had a pretty decent game. 19 points on 8-13 shooting. He made some easily preventable mistakes though.
Delfino chucked up too many shots.
Patterson was inconsistent with his shooting and not enough rebounds for a starting power forward.
Morris didn't look terrible out there but could have used what few minutes he had a little better.

Overall, it's on the coach and Lin. McHale could have eased up on Harden and Asik's minutes. They both played 40 minutes tonight which is wayyy too much for Harden let alone Asik. McHale could have given Cook some more minutes, he only had 7 minutes. Aldrich with about 5 which pretty much narrows it down to a 7 man rotation. That being said, we definitely need to give the others a chance on the team. Not saying they would have saved the game for us but it wouldn't hurt to put in D-Mo and Jones to give Asik a rest and threaten Patterson to be a bench player. I would imagine that Jones will be starting some time soon with the way Patterson has been playing.

Jeremy Lin had serious issues distributing the ball tonight with only 3 assists. He needs to step it up and create some easier shots for the team. The steals are worthless if he can't be a play maker. And where the hell is Royce White? He is a good play maker and is a nifty passer, we need someone else like that on this team because Delfino is right, "our offense is too predictable".

cant run...if the guards are being pressured up the court...and it takes them 14 seconds to initiate the high screen and roll...McChoke should be making it easier for these rookies to get shots...instead...he is just letting them muddle around in mediocrity...great player for the Celtics...terrible Coach(record speaks for itself)

Wonderfully said. Also, even teams with great talent (Miami) run off-the-ball screens and create more passing lanes to help facilitate scoring. You would think we had the Dream Team with Jordan and Barkley with all of of these ISOs. Also, I really feel sorry for our young team because they are being put in a poor position to win with this offense, and this is going to run Harden into the ground.

I think the whole mentality changed once they signed harden and saw him go off foe two games. They want everything to go thru him. I mean there are times when Jeremy doesn't even touch the ball once in an offensive set. WTF Is McHale trying to do?
