Harden's scoring have looked shaky.

 

Melo is a career .450% shooter, which is normal for a shooter of his volume. He also demands a double/triple team, and is elite in ISO. He even had seasons where he was close to 50%. Pretty much the only person I seen who can shoot as many (perimeter) shots in volume like Melo and hit them at 50% or more is Durant, and he's very special. And a superstar in this league.

 

I don't think he was even this bad once he got exposed by Miami.

I'm nowhere near his biggest fan but even I'm shocked at how terrible he's been.

 

To be fair though, harden isn't doing much either. These two have been regressing every game.

 

Perspective: its just Game 5 people! They will need at least 20+ games to get any kind of chemistry going. I think the big "revelation" will be when either/both Jones and D-Mo get some consistent playing time. I have a feeling we have another legit scorer on the bench. Patterson is not a bruiser in the paint type Power Forward and his shot is spotty. We need a scorer to match up with Asik or at least a strong rebounder...not really seeing it from him.

 

On a championship team Harden isn't a 1st option but not many people in this league are.

We could always be highly competitive if the offensive schemes and rotations were improved.

- Patterson being abused out there by Z-Bo
- Lin can't defend worth a lick atm so need to have someone else guard the opposing PG
- Stop ISO'ing Harden on every play and trying to play half-court.
- Play Terrrence Jones.

 

It's amazing really.

Notice how the Rockets had one of the highest team assists through preseason and the first 2 games...after McHale installs Harden-centric offense there's no assists and nothing but 1 on 1 iso ball.

wow they took 51 shots to our 35. they also only shot .373 - that will go up in the second half.

 

Yeah, it's not like Harden is leading the game in scoring or anythin

How is Patt Average 15 shots a game, someone needs to tell him he's just a placeholder for an all star next year

 

Somewhere melo, Felton, SAS and Dolan ate laughing. Not impressed with Lin.

 

Imagine if Rockets are losing? FIRE EVERYBODY!

 

I didn't expect us to have a lead at the half. This is a good team with chemistry. The fact that we are hanging with them makes me excited for when our guys have played together a few games!
